2.4 Power
The AC adapter is used to power the scale when battery power is not needed. First
connect the AC Adapter plug to the scale input jack located at the bottom of the
scale, and then connect the AC adapter to the proper AC supply.
Caution: The scale can only be used in a dry environment when
powered by the AC adapter.
2.4.1 Battery Charging:
When “Lo” or “ ” is blinking, the battery power is low and the scale needs to
be charged. Connect the AC adapter to the scale input jack, and then connect
the AC adapter to the proper AC supply.
Attention: Make sure that the switch on the bottom of the scale is
switched on when charging.
2.4.1.1 Charging when the scale is powered off
During charging, [----] will be blinking on the display. When [----] stops
blinking, the battery will be fully charged after 2 hours.
2.4.1.2 Charging when the scale is powered on
During charging, the status icon “ ” will be blinking. When the icon
stops blinking the battery will be fully charged after 2 hours.

3 OPERATION
3.1 Controls

Zero Sets display to zero, →0← will be displayed
M+ Accumulates the weight or displays the accumulated information at 0 load.
Tare Enter / clear a Tare value, NET will be displayed
Key 0-9 Input digit. If no operation for 3 seconds, pressing these keys can clear the
current digit and input a new digit.
. Input decimal of the unit price
C Clears the unit price or amount
M+ 1) During weighing, press this key to add an amount. The “add-on” symbol
appears, Weight reading display window shows "-Add-”; Unit price
display window shows add-on times; Amount display window shows total
amount. If amount is zero, this key is not applicable. Press any digit key
to exit current add-on operation (the add-on result will be memorized)
and return to weighing mode.
2) If no weighing, press this key to see the add-on amount. Weight reading
display window shows "tot"; Unit price display window shows total add-
on times; Amount display window shows total amount. Press any digit
key to exit current add-on operation (the add-on result will be
memorized) and return to weighing mode.
MC Clear memorized add-on result.
Exits add-on mode, add-on symbol disappears.
Change 1) Activate money change function. Weight reading display window shows
“-CHA-"; Amount display window shows
"------". Press digit keys to input the amount of received money (press [C]
to clear input), and amount display window will show the amount of
change. Press [Change] key again to exit change function and back to
weighing mode.
2) Unit switch: Under weighing mode, press this button for 3 seconds. The
scale will beep, meaning unit conversion is activated. LCD shows the
current weight unit.

3.2 How to store unit price
After switching on the scale, press the [Enter] key. Weight reading display window
shows "SET", unit price display window shows "- - - - -". Press one of the unit price
keys [MX], the weight reading display window now shows "SET-X". The unit price
display window shows the unit price already set before. Press the digit keys to input
the desired unit price, and then press [Enter] to finish.

4) Press the [Enter] key to store the unit price.
4 MAINTENANCE
4.1 Cleaning
The housing may be cleaned with a cloth dampened with a mild detergent if
necessary. Do not use solvents, chemicals, alcohol, ammonia or abrasives to clean
the housing or control panels.
4.2 Troubleshooting
The following table lists common problems and possible causes and remedies.
If the problem persists, contact OHAUS or your authorized dealer.

3 OPERACIÓN
3.1 Controles
Botón Funciones
Tecla 0-9 Entrada de dígitos. Si no opera por 3 segundos, presione estas teclas para borrar el
actual dígito e ingrese el nuevo dígito.
. Entrada decimal de precio unitario.
M+ 1) Durante el pesaje, presione está tecla para adicionar una cantidad. Aparecerá el
símbolo “ADD-ON”, la pantalla de PESO mostrará "-ADD-”; La pantalla de PRECIO
UNITARIO mostrará ADD-ON un momento; La pantalla de PRECIO TOTAL mostrará el
monto total. Si la cantidad es cero, esta tecla no es aplicable. Presione cualquier dígito
para salir del modo de ADD-ON (el resultado de ADD-ON será guardado en memoria) y
retornará al modo de pesaje.
2) Sin peso en el pIatillo, presione esta tecla para ver el resultado guardado en ADD-
ON. La pantalla de PESO mostrará "TOT"; la pantalla de PRECIO UNITARIO mostrará
el resultado total por un momento; La pantalla de PRECIO TOTAL mostrará el
resultado total. Presione cualquier dígito para salir del modo ADD-ON (el resultado de
ADD-ON será guardado en memoria) y retornará al modo de pesaje.
MC Borra el resultado guardado en memoria.
Sale del modo de adición, el símbolo de adición se apaga.
Change 1) Activación de la función de cambio. La pantalla de PESO mostrará
(Cambio) “-CHA-"; la pantalla de PRECIO TOTAL mostrará "------". Presione los dígitos para
introducir la cantidad de efectivo recibido (presione [C] (BORRAR)
para borrar el dato), y la pantalla de PRECIO TOTAL mostrará la cantidad que
corresponde como cambio. Presione nuevamente [Change] (CAMBIO) para salir de la
función de cambio y retornar al modo de pesaje.
2) Cambio de unidades: en modo de pesaje, presionar está tecla por 3 segundos. La
báscula sonará, la conversión de unidades estará activa. La pantalla LCD mostrará la
unidad de peso actual.

4 MANTENIMIENTO
4.1 Limpieza
La carcasa puede limpiarse con un paño humedecido con un detergente suave si
es necesario. No utilice disolventes, productos químicos, alcohol, amoniaco ni
abrasivos para limpiar la cubierta de control.
4.2 Solución de problemas
En la tabla siguiente se enumeran los problemas comunes y sus posibles causas y
soluciones. Si el problema persiste, póngase en contacto con Ohaus o con su
distribuidor autorizado.

1 INTRODUCTION
Ce manuel contient les instructions d'installation, de fonctionnement et de
maintenance de la série Aviator™ 2000. Veuillez lire intégralement ce manuel avant
d’utiliser la balance.
2 INSTALLATION
2.1 Contenu de l’emballage

2.4 Alimentation
L'adaptateur CA est utilisé pour alimenter la balance lorsque l'alimentation sur
batterie n'est pas nécessaire. Connectez d'abord la fiche de l'adaptateur CA sur la
prise d'entrée située en partie inférieure de la balance, et connectez ensuite
l'adaptateur CA sur une alimentation secteur appropriée.
Attention : La balance ne peut être utilisée que dans un
environnement sec lorsqu'elle est alimentée par l'adaptateur CA.
3. FONCTIONNEMENT
3.1 Contrôl

Zero (Zéro) Définit l'affichage à zéro, →0← sera affiché
M+ Accumule le poids ou affiche les informations recueillies lorsque la
charge équivaut à 0.
Tare Introduction/effacement d'une valeur de tare, NET s'affichera
Touches 0 à 9 Entrée de chiffres. Si aucune opération ne se produit pendant 3
secondes, vous pouvez effacer le chiffre en cours et en entrer un
nouveau en appuyant sur ces touches.

C Efface le prix unitaire ou le montant
M+ 1) Pendant la pesée, appuyez sur cette touche pour ajouter un montant.
Le symbole « ajout » apparaît, la fenêtre Mesure du poids affiche « -
Ajouté-» ; la fenêtre Prix unitaire affiche le nombre d'ajouts ; la
fenêtre Montant affiche le montant total. Si le montant est égal à
zéro, cette touche n'est pas utilisable. Appuyez sur n'importe quelle
touche numérique pour quitter l'opération d'ajout en cours (le résultat
de l'ajout sera mémorisé) et pour revenir au mode de pesage.
2) En l'absence de pesage, appuyez sur cette touche pour afficher le
montant de l'ajout. La fenêtre Mesure du poids affiche « tot » ; la
fenêtre Prix unitaire affiche le nombre total d'ajouts ; la fenêtre
Montant affiche le montant total. Appuyez sur n'importe quelle touche
numérique pour quitter l'opération d'ajout en cours (le résultat de
l'ajout sera mémorisé) et pour revenir au mode de pesage.
MC Effacement du résultat des ajouts mémorisés.
Quitte le mode d'ajout, le symbole « ajout » disparaît.
Change 1) Activation de la fonction de changement de monnaie.
La fenêtre Mesure du poids affiche « -CHA- » ; la fenêtre Montant affiche
"------". Appuyez sur les touches numériques afin d'introduire le
montant d'argent reçu (appuyez sur [C] pour effacer l'entrée) et la
fenêtre Montant affichera le montant à rendre. Appuyez sur la touche
[Change] pour quitter la fonction de Change et revenir au mode de
pesage.
2) Changement d'unité : En mode de pesage, appuyez sur ce bouton
pendant 3 secondes. La balance émettra un bip pour signifier que la
conversion d'unité est activée. L'ACL affiche l'unité de poids en
cours.

3.2 Comment mémoriser le prix unitaire
Après avoir mis la balance sous tension, appuyez sur la touche [Enter] (Entrée). La
fenêtre Mesure du poids affiche « SET » ; la fenêtre du prix unitaire affiche "------".
Appuyez sur l'une des touches du prix unitaire [MX], la fenêtre de mesure du poids
affiche maintenant « SET-X ». La fenêtre du prix unitaire affiche le prix unitaire déjà
défini auparavant. Appuyez sur les touches numériques afin d'introduire le prix
unitaire désiré et ensuite sur [Enter] (Entrée) pour terminer.
Exemple :
1) Mettez la balance sous tension:

3) Appuyez sur la touche [M1] et définissez le prix sur 2,50:
4) Appuyez sur la touche [Enter] (Entrée) pour mémoriser le prix unitaire.
4 MAINTENANCE
4.1 Nettoyage
Vous pouvez nettoyer l'enceinte avec un chiffon humide et un détergent doux, si
nécessaire. N'utilisez pas de solvants, produits chimiques, alcool, ammoniaque ou
produits abrasifs pour nettoyer le boîtier ou les panneaux de contrôle.
4.2 Dépannage
Le tableau suivant répertorie les problèmes communs, les causes possibles et les
solutions.
Si le problème persiste, contactez OHAUS ou votre revendeur agréé.
