Site mixing challenges…
 Inconsistency in sand sourcing

Required space for stocking of sand and cement at site.

 High wastage during storage of sand at site.

 Wastage during sand sieving at site.

 Inconsistency in cement mix due to manual mixing

 Vertical shifting of material at construction site

 Sourcing of skilled masons

 High wastage of material during placing of plaster.

Durability

Durability of Mortar may be defined as the ability

of Mortar to resist water permeability, water absorption
and weathering action, while maintaining its desired
engineering properties.

Pg
Water Absorption – Rilem Test 11.2

Graduated Rilem Tubes are temporarily fixed / glued to the plastered wall and rate of
absorption of water is measured every 5 minutes till 60 minutes.
The tests represents the ability of Mortar to resist water absorption from rain fall and
other possible wetting process. Pg

Features & Benefits of Bag Mortar
High Strength: 1:4 (Cementitious: Sand) Minimum Wastage: Pre mix, and
provide high strength low rebound while applying

Consistent quality: Manufactured in Economical: Provide smooth & sound

controlled environment of RMX plants finish hence saving in post finishes
(Skim coat & painting)

Hassle Free: No need to deal with

Easy application: material is pre-mix, multiple vendors (For sand, cement)
even not to add water at site

Reduce Labour requirement: No

Crack Resistant: Plaster is fibre reinforced need for sand sieving, mixing
and manufactured in controlled condition water at site
chances of cracks are negligible
