Rural Bank Inc. (MPRBI), Quezon Branch. I’ve already know the everyday routine. I
was just dreaming being inside this bank and what inside the bank when I was
elementary and curious about what’s going on and my dreams turn into reality. I
didn’t just see it but I experienced the different everyday situations in the bank like an
employee. I’ve also learned many things and strategies in the bank and some behavior
I have learned many things in every department and before we proceed in our
ma’am Vivian Matusalem- the loan’s clerk, she taught us how to fill up deposit and
withdrawal slips which is very easy. Out of curiosity, we went upstairs by the
assistance of ma’am Juvy . She showed to us the proofsheet from year18’s to 20’s and
we organized it by year. By the guidance and knowledge of Sir Jorelle, the loan’s

After our job in Loan’s clerk, we moved on another department which is the
Loans and Savings Bookkeeper. We help every clients to fill up withdrawal and
deposit slips. After that, the cashier will gave to us the slips and passbook of the
clients and we have to look for their respective ledgers, we record their deposits/
withdrawals to savings journal ledger and put it into the system. After that, we passed
their passbook, slips, account ledger and savings journal ledger to the general
have learned more in journalizing, doing T-Accounts, and arranging proof sheets by
approval signing to the manager. I also learned new works from the bank like
arranging daily, weekly and monthly proof sheets, filing proof sheets and checking
deposit and withdrawal deposits by the shared knowledge of Ma’am Juvelyn Sibayan,
the general bookkeeper. She also taught us to always look every slips if it has
up a deposit and withdrawal slip to know if we really know so that incase a client has
difficulty in reading and writing, we can help and assist them in fill upping slips. It is
also required to dance zumba once a week and every employee must dance even the
manager and also the Work Immersion students. The cashier also instructed us to
To sum it up, what we learned in School is a little bit different from the real
world that we are facing. There is a lesson in school that we can’t apply in our daily
lives. What I learned from MPRBI can use for the new stage of my life. We had no
salary but our experiences, learning’s, and unforgettable moments are enough to be
thankful for.

REFLECTION PAPER
Being a Grade 12 student is the most challenging and exciting part of high
school. I am about to graduate and I need to finish all the requirements that needed
life and I will surely miss my beloved school and teachers which moulded and shape
me to become who I am today. Days are fastly approaching and we will gonna leave
After staying at our Work Immersion area, I learned a lot which will help me
employee like them. Working with them is something very special. I thought we’re
having fun but we are making memories. They treated us a family, they guide us in
I thought working in banks is boring and there task are so difficult but when I
entered Mallig Plains Rural Bak Inc. (MPRBI) Quezon Branch, I realized that it is
more fun in banks. I meet different clients who help me to boost my communication
skills and lead me to become confident. I surpass my shyness in talking every time I
meet new client and they became part of my high school life.
I never dreamed being an Accountant since birth, I hate numbers and I don’t
know why. Other say learn to love what you hate. So instead of hating numbers, I
learn to love it step by step. It’s not that easy though. I encountered different kind of
failures and I still manage to fight. But as time passes by, what I hated yesterday
become my love today. It’s not hard to love something. If you really want, there is
always a way.
I choose Accountancy Business and Management (ABM) because I want to
matter what trials I encountered. Really being an ABM student is not easy but when
you’re enjoying it, you will realize how lucky you are because you learn a lot. I
thank my adviser for what she taught to us not only within the class but outside as
well. If you want something happen, you have to work for it no matter how hard it is.
