“The Wizard of Oz”: A Book Review

The Book was titled “The Wizard of Oz”, The Story has 14 novels according to

oz.fandom.com, and the first novel is “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” was wrote in 1900 the second

is “The Marvelous Land of Oz” the third is “Ozma of Oz” the fourth is “Dorothy and The Wizard

of Oz” the fifth is “The Road to Oz” the sixth is “The Emerald City of Oz” the seventh is “The

Patchwork Girl of Oz” the eighth is “Tik-Tok of Oz” the ninth is “The Scarecrow of Oz” the tenth

is “Rinkitink of Oz” the eleventh is “The Lost Princess of Oz” the twelfth is “The Tin Woodman

of Oz” the thirteenth is “The Magic of Oz” and the last one is “Glinda of Oz” . Oz was created by

author L. Frank Baum, who went on to write 14 full-length Oz books. It was published by George

M. Hill Company on the year 1900 May- 17. The type of this Book is a pocketbook with a genre

of fantasy, adventure film, family film and was written in a English language.

SUMMARY

The Story “The Wizard of Oz” was about the young little girl named Dorothy and have

a dog pet named Toto She leaves in her Uncle Henry and Aunt Em’s house in Kansas. When the

tornado rips through Kansas, The girl who named Dorothy and her dog are whisked away from

their house to a magical Oz country. To go back in their house in Kansas they need to follow the

yellow brick road to the Emerald City, while walking she meet Scarecrow who need brain, and

Tin Woodman who missing a heart , and a lion who is so cowardly that wants courage.

EXPLAINATION

The story was all good, and nice. He wrote the books, because the books dedicated by

his good friend and comrade. Her wife. The story is for all ages, especially for children. Story
follows the little girl and his dog on an wonderful adventure. The main character of the story is

Dorothy. Dorothy is an orphan child who leaves in his uncle and aunt in Kansas with Toto. Did

not lost in the book because the story is an exciting. got happy from the story. The story is easy to

read and understand , almost all the words from the story is familiar to my own vocabulary. The

creative value from the book is you need to be strong and be kind to others, and be friendly. The

Book is good and nice when read the full story and it was touch your feelings from your reality,

good work and word from the author. The author successfully achieve by the story for the children,

he have a good choice for choosing the story for all ages .
