FINAL PERFORMANCE TASK – PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS
CONSTRUCT ME

You are one of the researchers working in Philippine Statistical

Authority who is tasked to conduct a random survey among senior high
school students to have a base line data for the students’ economic and
family condition. You are assigned to gather data for the following discrete
random variables:

1. How many bedrooms do the students have at home?

2. How many numbers of siblings do they have?

3. How many gadgets do they own?

A. Gather the data from your randomly chosen senior high school students.
Then make a probability distribution table and construct a histogram for
each random variable.

B. Compute for the mean, variance and standard deviation of a probability

distribution. Show your complete solution.

C. Interpret your result.

D. Prepare a presentation to the class using appropriate technology.
