with politics and unawareness of the political and social reality of the EU have led to an increasingly passive
attitude amongst young Europeans. What measures should be taken in order to motivate young people to
play an active role and take responsibility in European society?

ensure the diversity of languages spoken across the EU does not present a barrier to this movement, while
simultaneously ensuring the multilingual heritage and minority languages of Europe are protected?
