1. In This modul i have learnt :


 Learning activity 1 personal letter
 Analizy the social functions, text structures, and lexico-grammatical
features of a number of personal letters in regard to the contexts of
situation.

 Learning activity 2 Spoken and Written ( printed ) Announcement


 To understand, apply, and compare the social functions, text structures,
and lexico-grammatical features of a number of announcement in regard
to the contexts of situation.

 To apply the knowledge to engage in social functions with


announcement, in contextually acceptable text structures and lexico-
grammatical features.

 Learning activity 3 Analitycal Exposition


 To understand, apply, and compare the social functions, text structures,
and lexico-grammatical features of a number of analytical exposition
texts in regard to the contexts of situation;
 To apply the knowledge to engage in social functions with analytical
exposition texts in contextually acceptable text structures and lexico-
grammatical features.
 Learning activity 4 Hortatory Exposition
 To understand, apply, and compare the social functions, text structures,
and lexico-grammatical features of a number of hortatory exposition
texts in regard to the contexts of situation;
 To apply the knowledge to engage in social functions with hortatory
exposition texts, in contextually acceptable text structures and lexico-
grammatical features.

2. weaknesses : In this learning activity,i found difficult to understand my task intruction.


It not clear enught.

Strenght : In this learning activity, all materihas complete explanation, so that i can
understand each parts clearly.

3. Material of module 1 is “English For Personal” developed to help rejuvenate and


maintain our English skills in building and maintaining personal relation with people
around. As the future of EFL teachers in Indonesia for the century, we will be exposed
to a wide range of English uses for Personal Communication both in written and spoken
texts. The need to maintain skill to use English in appropriate context is a part of our
capacity building as a professional EFL teacher in the future.
Therefore, in this module, we have learned personal letters, announcements, analytical
exposition text, and hortatory exposition in various contexts
