materiales.
Abstract
In the standing waves, the frequency has a direct relationship with the tension exerted on the
string and the inverse relationship with the length of the string and the linear mass density.
First, the ends of the rope must be the same as the fixed ends. The first mode of vibration will
be that in which the length of the string is equal to half a wavelength L = / 2. For the second
mode of vibration-a node in the center-the length of the string will be equal to one length of
wave, L =. For the third mode, L = 3/2, and so on.
In this experience, different tools were used to help us determine each of the data for
subsequent calculations. For example, the balance and a tape measure, the medium and the
length of the string in order to be able to find the value of the linear density of the string, a
dynamometer to obtain the value of the tension, and among other materials.
