PROPOSED ACTIVITIES FOR FEBRUARY 18- MARCH 18

LEGAL WRITING ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
a. Weekly Legal Opinion
-Each member will submit weekly a 2-3 page legal opinion of any novel issue of law that will
be determined by the Team leader to enrich their knowledge and capability to answer
questions of fact using legal bases.

b. Pleading Writing
-On the 1st week of March, Team will be given a hypothetical set of facts in which each
member shall submit the necessary pleadings for the plaintiff and the defendant for them to
learn how to write the different pleadings which they will eventually be making as lawyers.

c. Mock Trial
-With the approval of the Legal Aid Director, Team A or if possible, all teams, shall conduct a
Mock Trial before or after the finals week using the pleadings they have used as basis for
the trial proceedings. This will orient the Interns and volunteers in Trials and for those who
have not taken Practice Court 1 and 2, a form of introduction to such subject.

d. Doctrine Pool
-Each member of Team A is also required to submit a weekly compilation of recent case
doctrines from years 2019 and below. They will be compiling 5-10 digest per week which
can also help aid the Legal Aid in drafting their pleadings for legal basis.
