PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara or abbreviated as PLN is one example of a BUMN
that is engaged in electricity. The purpose of the Company is to conduct electricity
supply business for public interest in an adequate number and quality and to
foster profits and carry out Government assignments in the electricity sector in
order to support development by applying the principles of Limited Liability
Company. In addition, PT PLN has recognized as a Vision as a World Class Company

Profile:
For more than 90 years, Chevron has become a leading energy producer in
Indonesia. Chevron continue to strive to explore Indonesia's energy potential
through innovation, producing petroleum production from oil fields.
Chevron's partnership with the community and the Indonesian
Government Indonesia can be traced since 1924, when Standard Oil Company of
California (Socal), now Chevron, sent a geological expedition to Sumatra. In 1941,
Chevron drilled in Duri Field. Steamflood technology was first implemented in
1985, and now Duri is the world's steamflood enhanced-recovery project. In 1944,
one of the wells near the village in Minas became the largest oil field ever found
in Southeast Asia. Production began in 1952.
For more than half a century, Chevron have produced more than 12 billion
barrels of oil from land fields in Riau Province and offshore fields in East
Kalimantan Province.
Financial location:
Chevron work with the government and our partners to create multiple
economic effects from our operations throughout Indonesia. Chevron's operating
activities have contributed to the country and society of Indonesia in several
important aspects:
From 2009 to 2013, Chevron and its partners contributed Rp.455 trillion in
revenues to the Indonesian government.
In 2013, Chevron and its partners contributed Rp120 trillion to Indonesia's
GDP.
In 2013, Chevron and its partners generated Rp.7.7 trillion in personal income
for Indonesian workers.
