KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

PART 1: Doctrinal and Prophetic Reflections

1. Reflecting on the idea of Church

Matt 16:18-19
18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not
overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be
bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." NIV

“I will build my church”

In Matt 16:18 Jesus declared, “I will build my church”. The Lord took the word “church”, which is
the word “ekklesia”, from the Greek political life and public administration. The ekklesia was the
assembly of citizens called out by a herald or a messenger to a gathering with the specific purpose
of administrating the affairs of the city-state. “Ekklesia” comes from the word “ekkaleo” which
means “to call out”. Young boys (ephebes) would be taken through training in the ephebic
college, in order to qualify as competent citizens with rights and duties to engage in public
administration. The ethos of the Greeks in public engagement is captured in the words of Pericles,
one of the Greek politicians, who said, “we do not say that a man who takes no interest in politics
is a man who minds his own business; we say that he has no business here at all”. This ideal of
public engagement in Greek culture and thinking is further captured in the words of Thucydides,
a prominent Greek historian and general, who said, “we Greeks believe that a man who takes no
part in public affairs is not merely lazy, but good for nothing”. In developing His own ekklesia,
the Lord was not simply “copying” Greek ideas, He was in fact taking us back to our created duty
of public administration, as reflected in Genesis 2 vs. 15. The Greek political life was simply
adopted by the Lord as a fitting parable, pointing us back to how humans were designed to exist
and function here on earth.

Based on its definition, the philosophy and ethos behind this powerful word (ekklesia) captures
the ideas of inclusive participation, educated and competent citizenry, public duty, collective
responsibility and public administration. When considered from the point of view of the Kingdom
of God, church (the ekklesia) is a people called out of the world to administer the affairs of the
Kingdom of God (the rule of God) or to bring the administration of God within the spheres of
human life. In the same way that the ancient Greek citizens had to be trained and competent in
matters of public administration, the saints have to be trained and equipped to administer the
Kingdom of God within the affairs of life. Consequently, church must have an internal process of

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 2

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

teaching, training and discipleship, as well as an external process of engaging the public square
(“the agora” or the “marketplace”) by witnessing about the life and the way of Jesus Christ. The
saints must engage the “house of God” for discipleship and equipping, then equally, also engage
the public square (the agora) for the administration of the Purpose of God. These two processes
are implied in the statement of the Lord in Matt. 16 vs.18. The phrase, “I will build”, points to the
internal process of development that must take place in the lives of the saints; the phrase, “my
church”, points to a functional body of believers well equipped to advance the Kingdom of God
in public spheres of life. Ephesians ch. 4 further captures these processes as well – in verses 12
to 14, church must be equipped so that it can no longer be tossed back and forth by every wind
of doctrine (or knowledge), so that it can grow in the fullness of the nature of Christ. Verses 15
to 17 of Ephesians 4 outline that church must become fully functional, able to speak truth in love
as each part does its work.

“The gates of Hades will not overcome it”

The second part in verse 18 is important, it reveals that the establishment and existence of church
is a declaration of war. This is not war against some nation-state or republic, but this is war
against the very domain of Darkness – Satan’s territory. Not only is the establishment of church
a declaration of war, but church will itself encounter war and resistance from the domain of
Darkness. This does imply that any and every human system of public administration, established
with the aim of bringing human wellbeing (“in the spirit of ekklesia”) will encounter warfare from
Satan and his forces. But Jesus says something even more significant here, “the gates of Hades
will not overcome it”. Jesus says there will be war from Darkness, but Darkness will not prevail.
At the very least, we must be prepared for war when we set our minds on building church, but
we must be ensured that Darkness will not prevail.

“I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven”

The third component that must be noted here is that church is given the keys of the Kingdom of
Heaven, to bind and lose here on earth. This points to the administrative duty and function that
church has, over the spheres of human life. Church (the saints collectively) exists for the sole
purpose of administrating the affairs of the Kingdom of God in the spheres of human life. Church
must not entertain any other agenda within its ranks. It must not be preoccupied with advancing
the agenda of man, human institutions or nation-states.

2. The process of building and the journey of the Church

Eph 4:11-12
11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and
some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body
of Christ may be built up. NIV

Eph 5:25-27
…just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by
the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church,
without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. NIV

The statement, “I will build my church”, is further quantified in the scriptures above (Eph. 4:11-
12 and Eph. 5:25-27). The Lord has put a process in place for the church to be built unto maturity.
This is an intergenerational process and movement that began in Acts ch. 2 and that has lasted
over 2000 years. The process shall continue until church is fully built up according to the
prescriptions of Jesus. We must therefore not simply have an activity driven view of church, but
a transformational and developmental view.

The building of Church – Images in the Old Testament

The Old Testament (OT) was a shadow and a type of what was to come. Paul wrote, “these are a
shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.” (Col. 2:17, NIV).
There are two OT images that give us some clues about the kind of thinking, understanding and
approach we must possess when it comes to church building.

Image 1: The Temple of the Lord

The temple was one iconic image in the OT. This is where the Levites administered worship, led
by the Aaronic priesthood (high priests). The tabernacle of Moses was a mobile temple that the
Israelites used during their migration from Egypt to the Promised Land. It was built according to
the instruction of the Lord and under the leadership of Moses. The instruction was clear, “make
this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.” (Ex. 25:9, NIV). Not
only was the instruction clear, it was taken seriously, because “Moses (later) inspected the work
and saw that they had done it just as the Lord had commanded. So Moses blessed them.” (Ex.
39:43, NIV). Solomon later built the glorious temple (a fixed structure of worship). He too built it
according to the plans given by the Spirit to king David initially, and which were later handed over
by David to Solomon (1 Chron. 28:10-13,19). Ezekiel the prophet also saw visions of the temple
of the Lord. Towards the end of the vision Ezekiel prophesied…

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

Ezek. 43:10-11
10 "Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their
sins. Let them consider the plan, 11 and if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known
to them the design of the temple — its arrangement, its exits and entrances — its whole design
and all its regulations and laws. Write these down before them so that they may be faithful to its
design and follow all its regulations. NIV

What is the one thing we note here? The temple had to be built exactly according to the pattern
and design revealed by the Lord. Why is this important to us? It is important because according
to the New Covenant (NC), we (the saints) are the living temple of the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor 3:16
16 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? NIV

1 Cor 6:19-20
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have
received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God
with your body. NIV

2 Cor 6:16
For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among
them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." NIV

We are being built to be the living temple of the Lord.

1 Peter 2:4-5
4 As you come to him, the living Stone — rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to
him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood,
offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. NIV

If we are being built up, then there must be a plan, a design and a pattern for the building process.
That plan is Jesus Christ himself. We are being built according to the specifications of the life,
nature and ways of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13 gives us the idea of the church having to be
built up. Paul uses two significant words, “equip” and “edify”. The five-fold ministry must equip
the saints in the life of Christ. The word “equip” means “to adjust and make something fit, to put
a thing in its appropriate condition, to arrange, prepare and mend, and to make complete”. The
root meaning captures the idea of “making something complete and whole, such that it is what
it’s supposed to be and so that it can serve its destined purpose”. The five-fold ministry must also
edify the Body. The word “edify” means “to build up, the process of building and that which is
built, to establish a structure”. When combined, the words “equip and edify” speak of building

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 5

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

the church up to be a completed structure, according to the image of Christ. By implication, this
function of the five-fold ministry is impossible where there has not been the revelation of the
image of Christ first. We must see the image, to even begin the process of transformation and
building (2 Cor. 3:18). Paul used the image of the architect when defining his work as an apostle…

1 Cor 3:10
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the
foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. NKJV

The “master builder” is the “architekton” in Greek – the chief architect who builds according to
design. Not only does the apostle Paul possess the ability to understand architectural plans of
church, which are the correct arrangements of human life in Christ, but “another” (any other
minister of the gospel) must build upon the same foundation and with the same orientation. This
implies that all five-fold ministers must possess the spiritual craft, trade and the orientation that
is deeply architectural in all their building activities. This moves the church building process away
from arbitrariness and randomness to intentional and design-oriented building. The architectural
plan is the correct arrangement of human life in Christ. We lost this at the Fall and God is
restoring it back to humanity via the Church by His Spirit (1 Cor. 2:7-10, Eph. 3:10). We serve a
God who is the builder and maker of cities or civilizations (Heb. 11:10). The word “builder” is the
word that means “artisan, designer, craftsman or artist”. The root meaning of the word is “to
bring forth something new”. The word refers to an art, craft or a skill. If all ministry gifts proceed
from this nature of God, as also indicated in Eph. 4:9 (that when He ascended, He gave gifts to
men), then we all have the ability to establish new designs (new arrangements of human life) in
line with the image of Christ. Paul further explains this issue to the Galatians – “my dear children,
for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you.” (Gal. 4:19, NIV). The
word “formed” means “to form and shape; to form and fashion, originally used of artists who
shaped their material into an image”. Just like the artist can take a formless material and shape
or carve it into a meaningful image, ministers of the gospel must carve the image of Christ out of
the formless lives of believers.

Christ is the design of the living temple of God, the Church – He is the correct arrangement of
human life. Just like the OT temples had to be built according to the design of the Lord, the saints
must be built according to the design of Christ, so that Church can be a reflection of correct
arrangements of human life (arrangements of personal life, relationship, marriage, family,
parenting, economic productivity, administration etc.).

Image 2: The Migration of Israel – from Egypt to the Promised Land

The second image that gives us insight into the building approach of church, is the migration of
the Israelites. This is another big icon of the OT. Essentially, God is revealed to us (in the first
books of the Bible), in the context of the migration. In these books, we see God speak to Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob. We see Him establish Israel in Egypt through the life of Joseph. And we see Him
facilitate the exodus through the leadership of Moses.

Acts 7:38 He was in the assembly (church) in the desert, with the angel who spoke to him on
Mount Sinai, and with our fathers; and he received living words to pass on to us. NIV

1 Cor 10:11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for
us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. NIV

The word “assembly” in Acts 7:38 is the word “church”. The Israelites are a picture of a migrating
church. And just as they engaged a natural migration through the desert, so are we engaged in a
spiritual migration from worldliness to Christ, from sin to holiness and from infancy to maturity.
The processes they went through during their migration are recorded as critical lessons for us
who are engaged in this ultimate migration.

The Nature of our Migration

2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being
transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. NKJV

Eph 5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any
such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. NKJV

Eph 4:13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a
perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. NKJV

Our migration is spiritual, transformational, and developmental, and its destiny is Christ. The
history of the church reveals a global community of faith engaged in a spiritual migration under
the chief apostle, Jesus Christ. Since its inception in Acts 2, church has been going through a
developmental journey towards the fullness of Christ. This process shall continue until church is
perfected or made complete in the nature and life of Christ. “(Jesus) must remain in heaven until
the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets”
(Acts 3:21, NIV). The restorative migration of church is crucial for the finish of all things, it is the
prophetic time-clock for the coming of the Lord.

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

If the church is engaged in a migration, then our building process must be componential,
accumulative and progressive. We must discern the specific requirements of each stage and
phase of the migration and build accordingly.

The migration is stewarded through discernment of the requirements of seasons

Jer 8:7 "Even the stork in the heavens knows her appointed times; and the turtledove, the swift,
and the swallow observe the time of their coming. But my people do not know the judgment of
the Lord. NKJV

Jeremiah points us to the example of birds discerning the time of their migration. The birds
“know” and “observe”. To “know” – means “to learn, to perceive, to discern and experience; to
know sexually”. This is the same word that is used to describe Adam’s intimacy with Eve in Gen.
4:1 (Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived…). To “observe” – means “to hedge about, to
guard, to watch carefully over”. This same word is used in Gen. 2:15 (Adam kept or observed the
garden). These two words mean that seasons of migration must be perceived, known intimately
(and not casually) and be stewarded carefully. The NIV continues to say, “my people do not know
the requirements (judgments) of the Lord”. That is, my people have not conducted research and
investigation like birds, to determine the time of their movement forward. The word
“requirements” (or judgments) means “a legal decision issued by a higher authority, a verdict
pronounced judicially, a formal decree, to govern”. The requirements of the Lord are the
expression of His government over the church. When we despise them, we are despising His very
government over our lives and churches.

These two images of “temple” and “migration” point us to a design-oriented building process.
One that is componential, accumulative and progressive, and that is aligned to the emphases,
seasons and phases of our spiritual migration.

PART 2: Discerning the Season, Engaging Revelation

Discerning the Season & the Emphases of the Spirit

In Jeremiah 8:7, God laments prophetic ignorance among His people. He says, “my people do not
know the requirements (the decrees) of the Lord. Unlike birds, my people do not know the time of

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 8

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

their migration or movement forward”. Jesus lamented prophetic ignorance in His time here on
earth as well…

Luke 19:41-44
41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, "If you, even you,
had only known on this day what would bring you peace — but now it is hidden from your eyes.
43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and
encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the
children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not
recognize the time of God's coming to you." NIV

Matt 16:1-4
16 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign
from heaven. 2 He replied, "When evening comes, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is
red,' 3 and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how
to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. NIV

The phrase, “you did not recognize”, means failure to develop knowledge of something. The
phrase does not imply “sporadic or momentary” prophetic knowledge, but it refers to a
knowledge that is developed over time through the process of learning. And the phrase, “the
time of God’s coming (visitation)” means “the kairos (or the opportune time and circumstance) of
God’s inspection, oversight and superintendence”. The word “visitation” (episkope) in Luke 19:44
is the same word that is translated “bishop” or “overseer” in 1 Tim. 3:1. The word means, “to look
after, to give attention to, to come near, to examine the state of affairs of something”. This word
also means “sight of the end beforehand”. Jesus clearly lamented the condition of prophetic
ignorance. He wept over it.

Eccl 3:1 There is a time (zeman) for everything, and a season (eth) for every activity under heaven.
NIV

Eccl 3:1 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under
heaven. NASU

Eccl 3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. ESV

Eccl 3:1 TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.
AMP

In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, we are taught that the purpose of God flows in pockets of emphasis and
within allocated times and seasons. The word “season or time” (“zeman” in Hebrew) (“there is a

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 9

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

time for everything”) means “an appointed occasion”. The root meaning of this word is “to fix
and appoint a time”. In the second part of the verse, another word is used which is also translated
as “time or season”. This is the word “eth” and it means “a time of occurrence, the duration of
time in which something happens”. The sense we have in this word is that the meaning of “time”,
is determined by its events. “Issachar understood the times (eth) and knew what Israel should
do” (1 Chron. 12:32). We get further clarity in 1 Chron. 12:32 about the word eth (time) – that
this word does not speak of random events determined by man, but a time of divine events
determined by God, and which must be discerned by man. Correct discernment of the “eth”
empowers us with accurate and effective executive ability, because the second part of 1 Chron.
12:32 is equally important, “Issachar knew what Israel should do”. In context, this is about the
demise of king Saul and the emergence of king David – Issachar perceived that this was not simply
a “power struggle” between two leaders but that the hand of God was involved, warranting
obedience from the tribes of Israel. There is another important word in Eccl. 3:1, the word
“activity, event, matter or purpose”. This is the Hebrew word “chephets” and all these four words
(activity, event, matter or purpose) used in different bible versions correctly capture its meaning.
The word (chephets) means “that which is desired and valuable, a matter or purpose, a delight
and pleasure. The root idea is to incline towards something, to have an inclination or to bend
towards something”. Paraphrased, the second part of Eccl. 3:1 can read something like, “there is
a determined time of occurrence for every desire, purpose and matter”. This means that
whenever we discern the purpose of God, we must discern both the matter and the appropriate
time of engagement / execution of the matter.

How do we know that it is time for a matter to be engaged? Well, we know this by the Holy Spirit,
the revealer of mysteries.

2 Peter 1:19 And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to
pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star
rises in your hearts. NIV

The morning star rises within our hearts – i.e. seasons are discerned in the hearts with the help
of the Holy Spirit. God begins to stir us up just as He “moved (stirred up) the heart of Cyrus” (Ezra
1:1). The words “stirred up” mean “to arouse and to awaken, to raise someone to action, to stir
up a nest of young birds, to lift up a weapon”. In 2 Pet. 1:19, the rising of the morning star in our
hearts is linked to the dawning of a new day. When God moves us to a new season, not only does
He reveal the details of His plans and purpose, but He moves in our hearts by His divine energy,
to empower us to establish a new season.

Engaging Revelation

Eph 3:1-7
1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— 2 Surely you
have heard about the administration of God's grace that was given to me for you, 3 that is, the
mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading this, then,
you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known
to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and
prophets. 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel,
members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. 7 I became a
servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the working of his power. NIV

Ephesians 3 points us to the significance of revelation in the process of church building…

 Revelation is the core resource in church building process.
 Revelation is progressive and evolves over generations.
 Every church generation must build upon the foundations laid by former generations but
inspired by fresh revelation and insight of the Lord Jesus Christ.
 Revelation of Christ is given to a collective (“apostles and prophets”).
 Leaders must clarify specific prophetic burdens laid by the Lord in their hearts and for
which they are called to be servants.

The Complementarity of Revelation, Collaboration of Graces and the Diversity of Gifts

The Revelation of Christ is given by the Spirit, in different weights and spheres of anointings, to
either a company of people or individuals. Paul says, “the mystery of Christ has now been revealed
by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets” (Eph. 3:4-5). This suggests distribution to, and
stewardship by a company of ministry leaders. These leaders do not have to be in the same
church organization or apostolic setting, but like apostles Paul and Peter, they do have to walk in
a degree of honour of one another’s graces and revelation streams. In Matthew 25, we see
talents being given to 3 different people, “to one he gave five talents of money, to another two
talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability” (vs.15). God is not a respecter of
persons, denominations or networks. He spreads out the allocation of divine resources by His
sovereignty so that the whole Body of Christ may benefit. What often happens is that leaders,
recognizing the complementarity of the graces and revelation that they carry, often end up in
some degree of relationship, just like it happened with apostles Paul and Peter. And since we,
the ministers of the gospel, are the ones being given the talents (of revelation and purpose), we
often are not in a position to readily tell “the scope” of our talent in relation to that of another
minister in some other part of the world, unless we walk in a degree of relational proximity with

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 11

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

such a minister. However, collaboration requires that we can accurately discern and quantify one
another’s graces and gifts. We have to quantify graces for the following reasons:
 The five-fold ministry is established upon the principle of team, diversity and
collaboration (Eph. 4:11). We must understand and value the operation of each ministry
gift.
 Mutual honour is not possible where graces have not been quantified. The Biblical word
“honour” means “to determine the exact value of a thing”.
 Paul declared, “the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered
it, but God made it grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose”
(1 Cor. 3:6-8). In 1 Cor. 3:10 Paul further declared, “I’ve laid the foundation, and another
builds on it”. This recognizes the inherent collaborative nature of the five-fold ministry. It
further requires a precise valuation, quantification and placement of each gift, so that
there can be a correct administration and team flow during the work.

Failure to quantify and honour gifts is not necessarily a noble thing, it is simply lack of wisdom,
and it may be rooted in either false humility or pride.

Identifying a revelational burden and stream in the midst of the multiplicity of voices

Eph 3:2-8
2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God's grace that was given to me for you, 3
that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading
this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not
made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy
apostles and prophets. 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together
with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. 7
I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the working of his
power. 8 Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me… NIV

In Ephesians 3, Paul brings an important balance between the multiplicity of voices and the
revelational burden upon his own personal life and apostolic setting. He uses phrases like, “to
me, my insight, grace given me, I became a servant of this gospel”. In this way, Paul clearly
identifies the specific revelational burden given to him and by extension, upon the apostolic
world God has called him to establish. It is important to acknowledge and honour the multiple
voices the Lord is using in a particular season. But it is equally important to not overly generalize
the voice of God to the point of losing the specific burdens, emphases and streams flowing
through a particular gift and apostolic setting.

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

1 Cor 12:12,17-18
12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they
form one body. So it is with Christ. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of
hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God
has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. NIV

The human body is a whole unit made up of different parts. The uniqueness of each part must be
celebrated without compromising and diminishing the holistic identity of the body. If the whole
body were an eye, there would be no sense of hearing. However, the eye brings an important
function as an individual part of the body. There are no systems of thought in the fallen world
that accommodate this reality. In this world, you either emerge from the crowd through
competition or you die out in the crowd through false humility. We don’t know how to be unique
while fully identifying with the whole. So as we journey into the kingdom, we need to be re-
schooled and re-oriented by the Spirit of God so we can appreciate and flow in these principles.

What is the Matter (or emphasis) of this Season?

The purpose of the Lord moves through seasons and prophetic emphases (Eccl. 3:1). A prophetic
emphasis is that which the Lord regards as a spiritual priority and defining activity in a particular
season. This does not mean that we must neglect the set routines of church building in order to
pursue a prophetic emphasis. We must continue administrating and building all other
foundational activities and spiritual routines of church life, whilst keeping and fixing our eyes on
the priority of the Spirit. Neglecting the spiritual routines of church building in order to focus on
prophetic priorities results in unhealthy churches. In any season of the church, there will always
be people who are getting saved, who need pastoral counselling on the most basic matters of
life, personal development processes of believers, marriage development, issues of holiness etc.
But these simply become a powerful and an important foundation upon which we build prophetic
priorities of the new seasons of the Lord. In the same way, focusing solely on elementary
positions and teachings produces traditional churches, it deprives the saints of the fullness of the
life and ministry of Christ. We must establish elementary teachings and use them as a foundation
upon which we build teachings of maturity (Heb. 5:11-6:3). Standing upon firm spiritual
foundations, and “living up to what we have already attained”, we must “forget what is behind
and strain toward what is ahead, pressing on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has
called us heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:12-16). The word “forget” in Phil. 3:13 means “to
lose out of mind”. In spiritual and apostolic terms, the word (forget) does not mean to no longer
live out the principles learnt in former times, but instead, it means to make space for new
priorities while standing upon foundations of old definitions. For this reason, Phil. 3:16 becomes
important, “let us live up to what we have already attained”. And it is for this reason that God

uses the analogy of a house when He talks about the church. The house needs a foundation upon
which all other building activities can be engaged. Without a foundation, you cannot erect walls
and put a roof to that house, neither can you decorate it.

Acts 3:21 He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he
promised long ago through his holy prophets. NIV

Church is engaged in a spiritual migration, it is engaged in a restorative-developmental

movement. It is paramount that we don’t see church as simply an environment of random
spiritual activities, but that we see it as a global community on a journey of restoration unto
maturity. This view provokes us to ask the prophetic question, “what is the restorative agenda of
God for the church in this season?” What is the matter of the current season? What is it that we
cannot afford to neglect in our church building processes? Since God reveals the matter to a
company of apostles and prophets, the answer to this question cannot come from one person.

Eph 3:4-5
4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5
which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit
to God's holy apostles and prophets. NIV

Ps 68:11 The Lord announced the word, and great was the company of those who proclaimed it.
NIV

Jer 51:31 One courier follows another and messenger follows messenger to announce to the
king of Babylon that his entire city is captured. NIV

The purposes of God are announced by the multiplicity of voices. In any season, there must be a
company that declares the good news of the Kingdom of God. The proclamation of the purposes
of God is always a project of the collective – “and how can they preach unless they are sent? As
it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" (Rom. 10:15, NIV).

Isa 44:26 who carries out the words of his servants and fulfills the predictions of his messengers.
NIV

The voice of the Lord is like the sound of the army:

Ezek. 1:23-24
23 Under the expanse their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two
wings covering its body. 24 When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the

roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they
stood still, they lowered their wings. NIV

Part 3: Kingdom Humanity - The Matter of the Season

Discerning the Prophetic Need of our Spiritual Environment

Every season has its own prophetic need in the spirit. The prophetic need of a spiritual
environment reflects the groaning of the Spirit for the development of the saints in the life of
Christ. It reflects the groaning of the Holy Spirit, of the saints and of the whole of creation. It is
the critical and core need in the purposes of the Lord. For example, there was a time when the
church’s need was fluency in prophetic ministry. This was calling for saints who had the ability to
bring the voice and the mind of God to life. We equally must discern the prophetic need of our
times, this is crucial for the effective advance of the Kingdom of God.

What is the prophetic need (or the cry) of the current spiritual environment?

It is the human and the administration of space around him

Everywhere, the saints are being stirred by the Spirit of God to rise up and administer the spaces
in which they live and exist. These are spaces of marriage, family, communities, businesses,
workplace, cities and nations. All believers – educated and uneducated, rich and poor, male and
female, young and old, those in “developed worlds” and those in “developing worlds” – all have
to exist within complex spaces, and must therefore be empowered and equipped to administer
life within these spaces. To each of these spaces, we have to deliver one thing – the Kingdom of
God. There is a fresh new burden that has fallen upon the church to bring kingdom
transformation beyond personal lives into spaces of human existence. Beyond the energy to do
this, we must possess the wisdom to build it. “Wisdom builds a house” (Prov. 9:1). Wisdom
establishes spaces.
This prophetic need to establish the Kingdom within spaces, takes us back to the reality of Adam,
who was the inhabitant of the earth with administrative responsibility over the garden.

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it”.
(Gen. 2:15, NIV). However, we now no longer look to the first Adam who fell and who speaks
hopelessness and shame, but to the Last Adam who lives in us and who speaks hope and
restoration (1 Cor. 15:45-49, Rom. 5:12-19).

1 Cor 15:45&49
45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the
man from heaven. NIV

Part 4: Kingdom Humanity – Definitions & Positions

The Human and the administration of space around him

Gen 2:15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care
of it. NIV

Acts 17:26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth;
and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. NIV

The administration of space around us is our created state. We were created to establish worlds,
to inhabit and administer them. This is our administrative duty from God. The Fall actually took
place in the context of our failure to administer our world. “When the woman saw that the fruit
of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she
took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it” (Gen.
3:6, NIV). Through the Fall, we brought chaos not only to our lives but to the spaces around us.
“…sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to
all men, because all sinned” (Rom. 5:12, NIV).

Christ has come as Last Adam to show us the way of administration of spaces

1 Cor. 15:45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-
giving spirit. Christ is the way, the truth and the life. He does not only show us how to walk in a

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 16

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

relationship with God, but He also shows us how to be human beings and inhabitants of the earth,
able to administer life in our spaces. The Cross – which is the spirit and principle of reconciliation
– is very much at the core of His way of administration.

The balance of devotion and administration

The balance of devotion and administration is captured in the greatest commandments…

Matt 22:37-39
37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all
your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love
your neighbor as yourself.' NIV

These two commands are the greatest commandments. They reflect the first priority of our
devotion to God, and the second priority of administration of life around us. If in our churches
we build a one-dimensional spiritual orientation of devotion, we will produce churches that have
powerful worship meetings but that are weak in administration of life. In doing so, we would
have failed the Kingdom of God. The components of devotion and administration must speak to
each other. Adam had to capture the element of devotion in his administration and had to engage
his devotion with the view to be empowered to administer his world.

Ps 115:16 The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to man. NIV

It’s clear that the administration of spaces of life, has been given to humans. We cannot delegate
this duty, but we must be equipped for it.

“Seek and Pray” – Prophetic Instruction to the Slaves in Babylon

Jer 29:7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray
to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper." NIV

The instruction to the Jewish slaves in Babylon captured the two realities of devotion and
administration. God said “pray” and “seek”. The word “seek” means “to inquire repeatedly, to
search out, to examine a matter”. Praying alone has a danger of having us absolve ourselves of
our kingdom obligation to administer life. But the word “seek” points to the issue of
administrating life, in this context (of Jer. 29), concerning the welfare of the city. This is in

accordance with the fact that “God created us to inhabit the earth” (Acts 17:26), and to bring His
administration into spaces of human existence.

Kingdom Citizenship – engaging the doctrine of Citizenship

Eph 2:11-12
11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called "uncircumcised"
by those who call themselves "the circumcision" (that done in the body by the hands of men)—
12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel
and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
NIV

Eph 2:19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's
people and members of God's household. NIV

Phil 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus
Christ. NIV

Phil 1:27 Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy
of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you,
I will know that you are standing side by side, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good
News. NLT

The words that Paul uses and that are translated “citizens” or “citizenship” have powerful
meanings behind them, they give us clues about how we are to express Christlikeness in this
season.

 “Citizenship” (Eph. 2:11) – (politeia): a free community under common government, a

commonwealth or a polity.
 “Fellow-citizens” (Eph 2:19) (sum-polites): natives of the same town. The word “citizen”
(polites) comes from the word “polis” (city). It defines a native of a city, a free man who
has the right of citizenship. “Sum-polites” therefore defines those who are members of
the same administration.
 “Citizenship” (Phil. 3:20) (politeuma): the administration of the state, the nature of
administration of life.
 “Citizens” (Phil. 1:27) (politeuomai): to be a citizen of a state, to conduct oneself according
to the laws and customs of a state, to live or to order one’s life and conduct in accordance
with a certain rule.

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 18

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

Citizenship definitions – derived meanings:

 Citizenship is administration.
 Citizenship is membership in a particular public administration.
 Citizenship is personal conduct that is in line with the ideals and values of public
administration one exists within.
 Citizenship is personal life within a public space, it is the influence of public life to personal
life.
 Citizenship is a direct and personal advancement of the ideals and values of a public
administration one exists within.
 Citizenship is shared life within a common public space.

The root words for citizen or citizenship (polites / politeia / politeuma / politeuomai):

The following are the root words for “citizen” or “citizenship”…

 Politikos – which means “that which relates to the citizens, that which relates to the
public, the affairs of the cities”.
 Polis – which means “the city” or the “city-state”.

Politics is therefore to be distinguished from political partisanship or party politics. In its proper
meaning, politics refers to public affairs or the affairs of the state. It refers to a public
consciousness and administrative responsibility towards the space (city or nation) in which one
exists. If we go back to the issue of ekklesia – within the Greek thinking, to be a citizen was to be
political. It was about participation in the wellbeing of the city-state or the space of your
existence. If the Lord has adopted this ancient Greek concept as a parable of His Kingdom, it
means that to be a believer or a member of the Kingdom of God - is to possess greater
responsibility for public life. Consequently, the faith is not to be executed within confined private
life, but in the public square (the agora). The agora (public square or marketplace) was a place of
public gathering and activity. Jesus sent the early disciples to the public square, to witness about
the gospel of the Kingdom of God. We cannot be in the Kingdom of God without being “political”
or without being concerned about the matters of the public.

Citizenship - Mentality & Positions

The following constitutes mentalities and positions represented by the issue of citizenship:

a) Citizenship is about the administration of human life within a defined sphere of existence
(the Kingdom of God).
b) Citizenship is the right of membership in an organized community (the church).
c) Citizenship is the responsibility to advance the administration of life that one is a member
of.
d) Citizenship is public life and duty.

The civil dimension of Christ

Eph 3:10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be
made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms. NIV

The word “wisdom” (sophia) means “skillfulness in the affairs of life”. The word sophia refers to
the administration of our civil life. There is wisdom (a sophia) that God has prepared for our glory
(1 Cor 2:7). The civil dimension of Christ is a set of definitions, arrangements and processes of
human life in Christ. It is our civil expression, the way we do and manage life. It is our way of life,
which must be proven by its fruit. Our civil dimension is redemptive, holy, collective and
sustainable. In this season, our spirituality must be measured by our competence in the
administration of life.

Part 5: Kingdom Humanity – the Matter of the Season

and the Movement of the Lord

We have declared that the prophetic need of our spiritual environment is “the human and the
administration of space around him”. The question we must ask is: “how is the Lord moving upon
this prophetic need? What is the nature of the Spirit’s movement upon “this void” of our time

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

(Gen. 1:1-2)? What is He “brooding, incubating and hatching” within our hearts, lives and
season?”

The first thing:

God is adorning the church. He is establishing the arrangements of Christ in our lives.

Rev 21:2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. NKJV

The word “adorned” is the Greek word “kosmeo” which is related to the word “kosmos”. This
word means “to set in order, orderly arrangement, to decorate”. This word is often used in the
Bible to describe the world (the arrangement of life) that God created (Acts 17:24, Rom. 1:20). It
is also used to describe the beauty of women (1 Pet. 3:3&4). The word speaks of the systemic
arrangement of life. Church, as a global community of faith, is the orderly arrangement of the
Kingdom of God. When nations look at church, they must see the orderly arrangement of human
life (Isa. 2:2-3). In this context, church is not simply a “gathering” of people, it is the very
arrangement of human life – i.e. church is both people and the spheres of life that the people
represent. Church is not just the saints, it is husband and wife arranged in marriage. Church is
parent and child arranged in family. Church is the employer and employee arranged in business
and workplace. Church is not just the saints, it is the arrangement of citizenship in society. Church
is the arrangement of humans and spheres of life in Christ. Put differently, Church is the
arrangement of Christ in humans and in their administration of spaces. When we speak the
Word of the Lord to the saints, we are speaking not only to believers gathered in meetings, but
to humans who exist in spaces. We are speaking both to humans and to spaces.

The issue of “arrangements” is going to be the battle of the next season. On the one hand, God
is adorning His church (Rev. 21:2). He is establishing His arrangements (the kosmeo) of human
life in the church. On the other hand, the world is imposing its own arrangements upon people-
groups.

Col 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy (i.e.
knowledge), which depends on human tradition (i.e. teachings & definitions delivered through
generations) and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. NIV

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 21

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

The phrase, “basic principles”, means “something orderly in arrangement, the basic components
of something, to advance in rows or rank, to march in military rank, to walk orderly, to keep in
step, to live according to a rule”. This scripture suggests that the world has its own arrangements
of life. The scripture further warns the saints not to be taken captive by these arrangements. The
church can only overcome this arrangement of the world by establishing itself in the arrangement
of human life in Christ (the kosmeo of Christ). Church must therefore realize that it is not simply
a gathering of people, but that it is the arrangement of human life in Christ.

Church is the arrangement of Human Life in Christ

1 Cor 12:18 But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he
wanted them to be. NIV

God has arranged human life according to His Will. In Prov. 8, He has arranged every
componential detail of human life according to His wisdom. The responsibility of church is to be
the pillar and foundation of truth concerning life. It is to express the precise orderly arrangement
of human life before powers and principalities.

The second thing:

God is clothing us with the Humanity of Christ. He is establishing Christ as our common humanity.

God is removing a worldly garment of old humanity from the church and is clothing her with the
new garment of the humanity of Christ.

Eph 2:15
15 abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to
create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace. NIV

Eph 4:22-24
22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life (mode of life, way of life, behavior,
lifestyle), to put off your old self (old humanity), which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 22

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self (new humanity),
created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. NIV

The word “self” or “man” is the Greek word “anthropos” from which we get the word
“anthropology”. This word speaks of a human being and human life. Whether saved or unsaved,
we have a self or a humanity, which is both a personal and a collective reality. Our humanity is
defined and shaped by the spiritual-cultural environment around us. Beyond just wrestling with
unholiness, our process of redemption involves being established in the new humanity or new
definitions of human life in Christ – a new way of being and a new way of doing life. This new
humanity must be established in our personal lives and in the spaces in which we have
administrative responsibility (e.g. households, businesses / workplace, cities and nations).

The third thing:

God is establishing a “new creation” out of the saints – “the Kingdom Inhabitant”

1 Cor 15:49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness
of the man from heaven. NIV

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has
come. NIV

The doctrine of “Adam” establishes the understanding of the created human existing within a
space and having stewardship and administrative responsibility over such a space. “The Lord God
took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it” (Gen. 2:15, NIV).
In the doctrine of Adam, the man cannot be separated from his space but is seen as one with the
space around him. Essentially, spirituality cannot be divorced from the administration of space.
We cannot worship God and be advocates of injustice and immorality all at the same time. In this
context, we are not only to love the Lord with all our hearts, but we are to also love our neighbor
as we love ourselves. That is, the faith is not only a devotional experience, it is also an
administrative experience. This principle provides the fundamental ideals and origins of the
concepts of citizenship and politics. So powerful is this principle that when sin entered the heart
of man, it also entered the world around him – “sin entered the world” (Rom. 5:12). “We know
that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to this moment …
(and) creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious
freedom of the children of God” (Rom. 8:19-24). Christ has come as Last Adam to redeem not

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

only humans but the administration of spaces of human existence. The following are the
examples of spaces that have been subjected to bondage – spaces of marriage, workplace,
community, nations etc. It is because of the corruption of the space of marriage that people are
scared to get married. The “sons of God” must be developed, equipped and commissioned as
advocates of redemption and restoration of these spaces.

In Summary

1. The prophetic need of our times is – the human and the administration of space around him.

2. Based on this prophetic need, God is moving to adorn the church with the humanity of
Christ.

3. He is establishing Church as the inhabitant of the earth, the Kingdom Inhabitant – after the
pattern of Christ, the Last Adam.

Based on these realities, we get a prophetic picture which is captured in the term – Kingdom
Humanity – which is the Arrangement of Human Life in Christ.
Kingdom Humanity is the adornment of Church in the humanity of Christ.

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

Part 6: Kingdom Humanity Fellowship

Kingdom Humanity is the Arrangement of Human Life in Christ

What is Kingdom Humanity Fellowship?

Kingdom Humanity Fellowship is a platform of fellowship and development in the Word of

Kingdom Humanity. It is a platform of equipping the saints to develop a “new creation” and the
new innovation of the Spirit out of them – “the Kingdom Inhabitant”. It is established as a
gathering point, a fellowship platform and an equipping mechanism in the definitions and
emphases of Kingdom Humanity. It is a platform of reception, stewardship, sharing and
distribution of the Word of Kingdom Humanity.

Kingdom Humanity Fellowship – The Apostolic Sphere of Operation

2 Cor 10:13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure
(i.e. measure of capacity, length or meter) of the rule (i.e. the canon, a reed or a cane, anything
used to measure other things) which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto
you.

Kingdom Humanity Fellowship sees the believer as the inhabitant of the earth (the Kingdom
Inhabitant). This Kingdom Inhabitant exists within natural and systemic spaces of life and has a
responsibility to establish the administration of God within such spaces. This Kingdom Inhabitant
is the new field of the Lord.

Recognizing this field of the Lord, the field of believers as Kingdom Inhabitants, Kingdom
Humanity Fellowship is the “plough of the Lord” that is designed to cultivate this field and
produce a kingdom fruit out of it.
ROBERT NTULI © 2019 25
KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

What is Kingdom Humanity Fellowship triggered by?

The Lord has been announcing and developing the Word of Kingdom Humanity since 2007 / 2008.
This has given us just over 10 years of consolidation of conviction around what the Lord has been
saying. Not only so, but the prophetic need of our times or of our spiritual environment, which is
“the human and the administration of space around him”, is now an evident reality in the Body
of Christ, as the saints rise up with a Holy Spirit birthed desire to bring kingdom transformation
in their spaces. Kingdom Humanity Fellowship is established to be a bridge between what God
is down-pouring (in terms of the Word of Kingdom Humanity) and what the Body of Christ is
already groaning for (in terms of bringing kingdom transformation in the spaces of their
existence). The relationship between the two realities (of the impartation of God and the
groaning of the saints) shall produce a functional Kingdom Inhabitant in the earth, able to
establish the administration of God in the spaces of human life, as well as a Church that is
competent in the Word of Kingdom Humanity.

The word “Fellowship”

The word “fellowship” is a powerful biblical word that was used in the early church to define
collective and shared life in Christ. In its basic meaning, this word (fellowship or “koinonia”)
means “to share with others; it also means that which is common to all”. The word means
“partnership, participation, to be an associate, to communicate, to distribute resources, to make
common, mutual belonging”. The early believers “had all things in common (koinos)” and as a
result, “there were no needy persons among them” (Acts 4:32&34). The spirit behind this word,
is one of sharing in the resources of God, in order to eradicate “poverty” and “need” in the Body
of Christ and to bring all parts of the Body to full participation in the life of Christ. This word
therefore carries the idea of access, inclusivity and equity in the enterprise of the Kingdom of
God. It carries the idea of equity in the distribution of resources so that all parts are resourced
and equipped. The objective is a fully resourced and developed Body.
Kingdom Humanity Fellowship desires to be a place of access and inclusivity, and a place of
distribution and sharing of the resources of God. It exists as a distribution mechanism of the
resources of God for the wider Body of Christ.

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

The Purpose of Kingdom Humanity Fellowship

1. To proclaim the Word of Kingdom Humanity.

2. To provide a space of fellowship around the Word of Kingdom Humanity.
3. To equip the saints in the Word of Kingdom Humanity and as functional Kingdom
Inhabitants.
4. To equip leaders, ministers and churches in the definitions and emphases of Kingdom
Humanity.

What is a Kingdom Inhabitant?

A believer who has embraced Christ as the basis of his or her

humanity, who walks in fellowship with other believers in the shared
humanity of Christ, and who is engaged in a process of administration
of the spaces of life according to the arrangement of Christ.

The Mission and Philosophy of Kingdom Humanity Fellowship

Kingdom Humanity represents a new philosophy of ministry in which believers are recognized as
humans who exist within complex natural and systemic spaces of life. Believers are seen as one
with their spaces, not only needing to navigate Christlikeness in these spaces, but also needing
to bring the administration of God upon the same spaces.

Kingdom Humanity Fellowship exists as a fellowship platform of Kingdom Inhabitants (ordinary

saints). It exists to gather the saints around the fellowship table of the Word of Kingdom
Humanity, to create an opportunity for them to feast and be developed by the Lord in the
definitions of this season. As a fellowship platform, it exists to serve the Word of the Lord. Within
this fellowship, the Word is held as a bigger spiritual structure that gives meaning and validity to
the operational activities that the fellowship will engage in. That is, we are more focused on and
obsessed with the development of the Word of the Lord in our hearts and upon the earth, than

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 27

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

we are about the mere expansion of the operational structure. We believe that the operational
structure must serve the Word of the Lord, and that the operational structure must posture itself
only as a “yeast within a bigger dough” of the Body of Christ. Existing and operating as a “yeast
mixed with the dough”, the purpose of Kingdom Humanity Fellowship is the development of the
Body of Christ (saints and churches) in the Word of Kingdom Humanity. This shall be achieved
through activities of proclamation, teaching and equipping in environments where there is divine
connectivity, mutual honour and voluntary relationship.

Platforms and Categories of Development in the Fellowship:

The following platforms of development shall be established within the Fellowship:

1. Kingdom Humanity Fellowships shall be communities of development in the Word of

Kingdom Humanity as well as platforms of equipping and edification of saints as Kingdom
Inhabitants.
2. Leadership and Church development programs & processes designed to equip leaders
and churches in the Word of Kingdom Humanity.
Kingdom Humanity Fellowship shall function as a “city with open gates”, ensuring a dynamic
and fluid “traffic” of saints, leaders and churches “coming in and going out” so that there is
ease of access and direct equipping. This will ensure that all have access to this kingdom
resource so that the Body of Christ may be built up.

Kingdom Humanity Fellowships

These are communities of development in the Word of Kingdom Humanity. They
are platforms of equipping and edification of believers as Kingdom Inhabitants.

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 28

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

Targeted groups in the developmental work of the Fellowship shall be:

1. Ordinary saints who desire to be functional Kingdom Inhabitants able to establish the
administration of God in their spaces.
2. Leaders and Ministers who want to be equipped as proclaimers and builders of Kingdom
Humanity within the Body of Christ
3. Churches who want to functional in the Word of Kingdom Humanity.

The operations of Kingdom Humanity Fellowship

 Meetings of proclamation and teaching of the Word of Kingdom Humanity.

 Equipping seminars for Kingdom Inhabitants.
 Development seminars and processes for churches and leaders in the Word of Kingdom
Humanity.
 Publications of written material on Kingdom Humanity.

The desired goal (vision) of Kingdom Humanity Fellowship

Hab. 2:2-3
2 Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation (or the vision) and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with it. 3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the
end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
NIV

The vision is the “chazon” – “the revelation, an oracle, a dream, or a prophecy”. When God takes
a people or a generation on a journey, He places a vision (the sight of the end) in their hearts.

The vision sits upon the hearts of the prophets like a “burden”…

Hab. 1:1 The burden which the prophet Habakkuk saw. NKJV

The burden is the “massa” – “the load and the weight of the Lord”. The word has a root meaning
“of lifting and carrying a weight”.

ROBERT NTULI © 2019 29

KINGDOM HUMANITY FELLOWSHIP

Phil 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in
Christ Jesus. NIV

The word “goal” is the word “skopos” – “the mark at the end of the race”. It is related to the word
“bishop” or “overseer” (episkope) – which basically means “sight of the end” among other things.
The word (episkope) implies the spiritual-administrative function of ensuring that life is
stewarded towards the desired end. The bishop is therefore one who sees the end beforehand;
one who also provides leadership towards that desired end.

What is the burden that we are seeing? What is our vision? What is our desired end?

1. A functional Kingdom Inhabitant who is able to administer his or her space according to
the arrangements of Christ.
2. A Church that is functional in Kingdom Humanity, that sees Christ as the foundation of
common humanity and that is positioned as a civilization (a city) of light before the nations
of the world.
