Reading/Language Arts
Dates to Remember: In Language Arts our learning targets this week have included:
*Spelling focus: long “a” made by ai and ay
March 18 Reading Log Count *singular and plural possessives: ‘s (one person) and s’ (more than one)
Day *Sounds made by dge like in fudge, bridge, and ridge
March 18 BOOK Fair buying day *comparing by adding “er” (2 people/things) and “est” (three or more)
March 19 PTC, 5:00 – 8:00 *recognizing when verbs in past and future tense
March 22 End of 3rd Quarter *Adjectives: recognizing adjectives as describing words
