Children having cell phones is a topic that many people have different stand points

on the topic being for children having them versus them not having cell phones in my opinion i

believe that children should have a cell phone in their possession. The reason why i think that

children should have cell phones would be that if they didn't have one then that child would be at

a big disadvantage in many aspects of life compared to other kids with phones. Cell phones can

be beneficial to kids in many ways which can be in keeping track of school work and homework

with all the work that kids get it can be hard for them to keep track of all their work and forget to

do it which will lower their grade. Another beneficial factor to kids having phones would be

mostly towards the parents of the kids having a layer of protection around them by the kid

carrying around a phone that the kids can use to call the parents anytime. Finally cell phones can

teach kids how to be a responsible person.

Kids at the age of fifteen and up will begin to have a busy school life with the transition of

middle school to high school they will begin to be expected to do more from their teachers thus

them having six different teachers giving them assignments to do everyday this can overwhelm a

kid which can cause them to forget one or two assignments which can cost the student. If a child

where to have a cell phone th child can put a reminder of the assignments that he or she has to do

which is beneficial to the student in their school life. Kids will begin to be on top of their school

work feel more relieved of all the pressure that they could of had and improve in school.
With children in middle school and high school they don't want their parents to drop them off to

school anymore they want to feel independent by walking to school on their own. With this

comes problems that the parent might wonder about their child's safety walking all alone to

school and coming back home from school. If a child had no way of contacting their child on

where to pick them the parent can be waiting a while to come pick them up. When a child has a

phone in their possession the parent can feel at ease and safe knowing that they have a form of

contacting their child incase of an emergency.

Finally a kid having a cell phone that they have to take care of is a big responsibility that

the child has to take. With this comes the child learning how to be responsible about not only

their property but about life around them. The child think of their phone as their own baby taking

care of it giving it its food which in this case is electricity to the batter they protect this object

with all their life not wanting to break it this makes them a responsible person to not lose the

phone or have damage occur to the phone.

This concludes my thinking that cell phones are not only practical to kids but also beneficial

to them as well. Cell phones give the child a helping hand not only in school work but in life.

There comes fear with a parent leaving their child outside in the world but with a cell phone in

the nhilds had the parent can feel safe knowing they can call their child anytime they want to

make sure they are safe. There is also a lesson to be learned from cell phones and that is

responsibility of taking care of their phone to have nothing happen to it.
