Achievement Award Scheme

Objective: To reward and recognize high performing individuals / teams for their significant contribution.

Applicability: The policy is applicable to all Executives including the probationers and trainees.

Eligibility: All executives whose contribution in the growth and success of the organization can be termed
as extraordinary shall be eligible for "Achievement Award". The contributions should qualify for one of
the below mentioned categories:

 Contribution beyond the call of duty


 Innovative Contribution
 Contribution beyond routine
 Trouble Shooting Exercise
 Extraordinary contributions
Assessment: Each Unit must have a Rewards Committee comprising of Finance Head, HR Head and one
person nominated by Unit Head. The committee shall critically review each project / initiative and send
the recommendations to Unit Head for final approval. The Unit Head will decide the reward under the
scheme after reviewing the contribution and its impact on the organization while ensuring that routinely
expected achievements are not rewarded.

To ensure that the scheme does not get diluted in its impact & objective and to maintain the sanctity &
spirit of the scheme, Unit Heads / Functional Heads to ensure that Awards are given only for
achievements which truly deserve recognition and the scheme is not allowed to be used just to use the
budgeted amount.

Reward: The reward amount under this scheme shall range from Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 15,000 per person per
quarter. The award can be for the individual or the team contribution.

The maximum amount per quarter for each unit shall be within the amount mentioned in the table below.

Recognition: The Executives must be rewarded in Unit Town Hall / Get-together / Operations Review /
Felicitation Ceremony. The format of Appreciation Letter to be given for the Award is enclosed as
annexure.

A quarterly report shall be sent to Head Performance & Rewards by 15th day of succeeding month as per
the format given below:
