Select spreading mode

Press – or + or the black field to select set-up (machine set-up for

individual types of material)

Press – or + or the black field to enter number of plies. Press 0 to

reset ply counter

Press black field to enter spread length

For setting origin. Spread lies to the right of the machine. Move the
machine to the desired position and press the key.

Slow start
Slow start is used when spreading thin and light material without end catchers in order to prevent
the material from flying over the table after start. The lighter the material the longer slow start dis-
tance.

Dancer bar delay

Setting of time before automatic material regulation (dancer bar) starts functioning after the
spreader has started. The lighter material the longer dancer bar delay distance.

Overfeed before stop

Overfeed is the extra amount of material fed before the spreader stops and cutting function is acti-
vated.

Elevator lift per ply

The distance the elevator lifts automatically each time a ply has been spread.

Elevator lift on return

When the spreading machine has spread a ply and the material has been cut off, the elevator is
lifted a pre-defined distance, e.g. 30 mm, in order to avoid that the spreader runs into the fabric /
material lying on the table. When the spreader begins to return, the elevator is lowered again. This
function is used when spreading one way – face up and zigzag without end catcher.
