Body:
 Teacher is to then explicitly model an example of a Whiteboard
number line with fractions with different
denominators on the whiteboard for the students to
refer to throughout the lesson. Teacher is to
explicitly explain the steps required when plotting
fractions in a number line.

 From this, the teaching gives the students 8 fractions

 Once they have done this students are to screenshot
what they have done and submit it onto See-Saw for IPAD APP “See-Saw”
the teacher to mark and their parents to see what
they have done in maths that day.

Conclusion:
 Teacher is to bring all students back down to the
front of the classroom. The students are to then be
split up into 2 teams. Both teams are to draw a
random fraction from a hat then form a line. One at a
time the students are to plot the fractions on their
respected number lines. The first team to
successfully plot all fractions correctly wins. This acts
as a good conclusion activity. Repeat this 2 more
times then ask students to sit back down.
 Students are to then turn to a partner and explain
what they have learnt for the lesson. They are to
then turn to another partner and do the same.
