SIZE – SHAPE – AGE – COLOUR + SUSTANTIVO
0. DAN
a. a big nose
b. a small nose
a. curly black hair a. handsome a. brown hair a. an old woman a. big green eyes
b. straight red hair b. ugly b. white hair b. a young woman b. small black eyes

0. Dan has got a small nose (Dan tiene una nariz pequeña).
2. Sarah is pretty.
5. Alan is fat.
natural.

04. GRAMÁTICA: HAZ ORACIONES (1-5) CON EL VOCABULARIO DEL EJERCICIO 16. USA EL VERBO “HAVE
05. GRAMÁTICA: CONTESTA CON INFORMACIÓN SOBRE TI. HAZ RESPUESTAS VERDADERAS
0. Have you got a belt on your waist? No, I haven’t got a belt on.
1. Have you got a hat on your head?
No, I haven't got a hat on.
2. What have you got on your feet?

3. Have you got a scarf on your neck?

4. Have you got a jacket on your body?
No, I haven't got a jacket on.
5. Have you got any rings on your fingers?
Yes, I have got rings on / No, I haven't got rings on.
ponerle el articulo “a/an”, “a trousers, a glasses”.
expresión “a pair of” o simplemente el plural sin artículo: “a pair of trousers” /“trousers”, “a pair of glasses” / “glasses”.

pregunta “What does he / she look like? (¿cómo es físicamente?) o “What is he / she like?” (¿cómo es de personalidad?)

Ya hemos visto anteriormente que el pronombre interrogativo “how” equivale a “cómo”, “How are you?
- “How old are you?” (Edad) - “How far is the school from you house?” (Distancia)
- “How tall is your friend?” (Estatura) - “How heavy is the box?” (Peso de cosas)
- “How big is the cake?” (Tamaño) - “How many students are there? / How much money have
- “How deep is that pool?” (Profundidad) you got” (Cantidad)
- “How high is the mountain?” (altura) - “How often do you play tennis?” (Frecuencia)
- “How fast is that car?” (Velocidad) - “How much do you weigh?” (Peso de personas)
APUNTE DE GRAMÁTICA: para responder a preguntas como “How old / talll / high, etc” usamos el verbo “to be” y la

Ej. “He is
wearing a coat” (lleva puesto un abrigo), “He is carrying an umbrella” (lleva un paraguas).

Existen muchas letras mudas. Las principales son las
siguientes:
38
IES CARMEN PANTIÓN UNIT 10. YOU LOOK GOOD!
©
Photocopiable beniperez CURSO DE INGLÉS PARA E.S.P.A
ELEPHANT – POTATO – HANDSOME – WRITE – BIG – SEVEN – TALK – KNIFE – PERSON – WHO - HONEST

Así que nunca diríamos I am liking (me gusta) , he is

La gente envía “cards” (tarjetas), “flowers” (flores) “and presents” (y regalos) a

honor.
