Is Tomorrow's Twilight Yesterday?

What if? Let's take a walk down a very pessimistic road into the future.

The modern global situation does not look especially positive. We all know what many of
the problems are. What if?

What if we prove to be unsuccessful in addressing those issues that are tearing our world
apart? Let's say that sometime in the next decade or two, global conflicts spiral out of
control. Let's say the worse case scenario does indeed manifest. Global thermonuclear war.

In the devastating destruction of this apocalypse, 90% of the world population dies. At our
present global population of 7 billion, the loss of 90% of the human population would still
leave us with 700 million to rebuild what was destroyed.

Now, let's add insult to injury. Let's say that the global nuclear war triggers massive
climate change. What type doesn't matter. What does matter is that compounded with the
devastating nuclear fallout, Mother Nature's wrath wrecks havoc on the remaining human
beings. Of the 700 million remaining after the nuclear war, another 90% of the survivors are
soon dead.

After a period of a few years, only 70 million human beings are left alive. Essentially, in a
few shorts years humanity has experienced an extinction event that has wiped out 99% of
the human species.

But this is clearly NOT THE END.

70 million human beings is still a significant number. They can rebuild, and rebuild they
will! Yet, the Earth that they knew, and loved has been drastically altered. They will not be
able to simply repair all that was broken, forget the past, and move forward. No, these
survivors will be pioneers. It will be incumbent upon them to build a whole new society
from scratch.

Everything will have to be newly defined. Granted, the first generation of survivors will try
to keep alive the best of the old world, but after a few generations, the new population will
have no direct memory of the past world. By their time, even the oldest of the original
survivors will have passed on. The only thing that will be left will be the legends, and the
ruins of the past. What the new generations will do with the legends of the past remains to
be seen.

But, let's change gears to speak about THE OTHER SURVIVORS.

It is well known that certain governments have been planning for Doomsday for decades. It
is alleged that the US, Europeans, and Chinese each have massive underground support
bunkers that can hold tens of thousands of survivors. These highly classified underground
bunkers are more like entire underground cities. They are set up to be completely
independent, and self sufficient. They are capable of keeping alive their population of tens
of thousands, and even have room for growth. More than just surviving, these
underground cities are equipped with the latest of technology. They have research labs,
factories and more. While civilization might be wiped off the surface of the planet,
civilization will not only survive, it will continue to thrive, and grow in its new
underground environments.

And so, DECADES, and even CENTURIES can pass. Those surviving on the surface would
have no idea about the existence of those in the underground cities. Those in the
underground cities will be focused on their own needs, and growth. Reclaiming the surface
might not be a viable option for them, for numerous reasons. As their technology expands
and grows, so too does their population. If they cannot return to the surface of the Earth,
then they just might focus technological development on space travel to find for themselves
another Earth.

The underground cities were originally set up to be the continuation of human

advancement. They will indeed serve this purpose. Yet, in a century or more, even these
cities will need to expand. And so, to the stars humanity goes. Over the years, the scientists
have developed successful faster than light space travel. They have discovered not only one
new Earth, but many. The underground cities of the Americans, Europeans and Chinese
have long ago put their differences aside, pooled their resources, and have been working
together for decades. They each discover different new worlds, and they each embark to
the stars to colonize each their own planet.

As the decades go by, more and more planets are discovered, and colonized. Within three
hundred years since the Earth apocalypse, the underground survivors are now thriving on
new Earths. Their populations swell into the millions. Their cultures, and civilization have
adapted, and evolved so much that they too have only a faint recollection about life on the
old mother planet, Earth. Their only knowledge of the old world comes from the lessons in
ancient history, taught in their schools. In the future, they will learn about old Earth, in the
same way that today we learn about ancient Greece, or Rome.

Let's skip ahead centuries. It is now the year 3015 A.D., one thousand years from today.

Humanity has been among the stars for centuries. Hundreds of planets have been
colonized. An actual United Federation of Planets has been established, and has served as
the Galactic government for centuries. Let's keep things simple for now, and not bring into
the scenario the other non-human extraterrestrial races that we will encounter among the
stars. Everything in the universe looks pretty nice, with a bright and promising future.

There is however, one small problem. Mother Earth! What shall we do with our mother
planet?

Over the centuries, the underground cities have been updated, and maintained. Earth has
never been completely abandoned. Regular movement from the underground cities to the
stars has gone on for centuries. Granted, not many stay in the underground cities anymore.
They serve more as outposts than as anything else. One specific function the underground
cities perform is to monitor life on the surface. They watch, and observe the surface
survivors, and how they have managed to overcome all the adversities of environment, and
culture building.

Surface humanity is primitive again. Technology is long gone. Even the legends of the old
world have been shrouded with myth, and superstition. Yet, in spite of some unique
evolutionary changes that the surface survivors have developed, they are, after all, still
human beings. They really should be reintegrated back into the greater family of humanity.

With the advanced technology of 3015 A.D., cleaning up whatever damage remains on the
surface of old Earth is an easy thing. Yet, to just swarm in, and to begin the clean up would
shock the surface people to their core. They never knew about the underground survivors
of the old apocalypse. After so many centuries they do not even remember the old
apocalypse, all the more so has all memory of the old world been long forgotten.

For the surface survivors, all that they know is that they are all alone in the universe. To
expose to them the ancient truth so bluntly, and overtly would be a shock that they could
not endure. Therefore, the advanced humans on the new Earths will devise a plan how to
introduce new elements, and new ideas into the primitive Earth cultures, to prepare them
for the eventual reunion of the human race.

Volunteers are selected. They will disguise themselves as surface dwellers of the old Earth,
and go live among them. These undercover volunteers will become teachers, and guides,
philosophers and scientists, to slowly reintroduce the old, lost ways to the people. This will
be a long and hard road.

Culture building can, and does take centuries. Nevertheless, in coordination with the
underground city outposts, and in league with the United Federation of Planets, the
volunteers who come to live with the surface dwellers of old Earth slowly but surely begin
to steer the new surface civilization towards the the values they will need to eventually be
ready to meet their long lost brothers, to reintegrate with them, and to bring old mother
Earth into modern times, as a full fledged member of the UFP.

It is, after all, the least our space brothers can do. It is essentially, their obligation to reclaim,
and remake the Earth.

By the year 4015 A.D., the plan to direct the surface survivors has been moving along
excellently. Their civilization has advanced. Technology has been introduced, and they are
slowly but surely beginning to unlock the secrets of the universe, and are themselves
beginning to look towards space. Yet, no one has told them about the ancient past. No one
has told them about the underground bases monitoring their progress, or their brothers in
space who are directing the entire endeavor. All things will be revealed in its time, when
everybody will be properly prepared to receive the truth. The revelation of these things is
not deemed to be immediately important. These revelations can wait for yet a future date.

Now, here is the BIG QUESTION.

Is this what is going to happen in the year 4015 A.D., in two thousand years from now.

OR!

Did this already happen in 4015 B.C., six thousand years ago?

We can easily change the names of the US, Europe, and China to Atlantis, Lemuria and Mu.
Is this scenario a description of our ancient past, and not necessarily our distant future?

What if this were true?

What if all the great minds to have dawned on Earth, guiding and directing human
civilization have all been in touch, in one way or another, with our own space brothers, who
today we would no longer recognize as being human like ourselves. While we might not
recognize them, they have never stopped recognizing, and caring for us.

What if this were true?

If this is indeed true, then the ancient alien theory would have to be adjusted. For the
ancient aliens, would be no aliens at all. They would, in actuality, be us! Maybe that is
exactly who they are today? If this is indeed true, then it will explain so very much.

Now, here is an interesting fact. According to the legends of the Sitrei Torah (secrets of the
Torah), this is indeed true. The ancient legends portray this scenario about an ancient, and
long forgotten apocalyptic war that wiped out almost all of an ancient, technologically
highly advanced humanity. The survivors went underground, and to the stars. Those who
remained on the surface fell back into a primitive state. The secrets of the Torah were
safeguarded to protect our ancient history, and to ensure the survival of our forgotten
truths.

When the time comes, the ancient secrets will be exposed, and the truth will be known.
When that day comes, we will be reunited with our long lost brothers and sisters, and learn
from the many wonders that they have discovered over the many centuries that they have
been away from us.

What if this is true? Think about it.

“The domestic animals of the past epoch (Shemitah), they are the human beings of this epoch
(Shemitah). Abel was their shepherd, and (thus) returned to shepherd sheep, as it is written. Moses
[too] was a shepherd.

The days of those people of that epoch (Shemitah), which is the epoch (Shemitah) of Abraham (mercy),
it is said about them, “like the days of a tree are the days of my people.” They were very long. They
ate of the fruit of the tree.

However the people of this epoch (Shemitah), which is the epoch (Shemitah) of Pahad (fear), they are
the sheep of that other epoch (Shemitah). Sheep eat only the fruit of the ground, therefore, they were
commanded not to eat of the fruit of the tree. Therefore, they do not have length of days.

The children of Amram of that epoch (Shemitah) were like angels, and Moses was of that epoch
(Shemitah). Therefore, Moses ascended to Heaven because he was an angel.”
