GENERAL DATA

1. General

A. This section gives the procedures, equipments and GSE to do the recovery for EMBRAER 195.

B. This publication has been prepared for the purpose of supplying crash, rescue, and recovery
teams with guidance to help save the occupants, and recover and prevent secondary damage to
the aircraft. The information herein allows adequate handling of damaged aircraft on the site of
the accident to prevent or minimize additional damage to the aircraft.

available recovery equipment.

D. The aircraft can be lifted by jacks, pneumatic bags, tether or cranes. After this operation, the
aircraft must be moved to an area away from the accident location.

E. Only prepared persons can go into the recovery location in order to prevent or minimize
problems.

F. Make sure you have the correct recovery equipment available to avoid secondary damage
during the recovery procedure.

G. Make sure you prevent more damage to the aircraft deriving from temperature, water, humidity
or other environmental conditions.
