Asalam-o-Alaikum, kia Ora Talia! your last story was about your gaining confidence to explore and try new things and
how this confidence has courage you to develop the understanding of the world around you. During these last few weeks
we followed your interest and supported you to develop more confidence to care for yourself , friends and environment.
To foster your interest in preschool garden I engaged you in activity of watering the plants. Today to further extend your
interest I asked you to get the lettuce and parsley from the garden and prepare salad for the lunch. I noticed you took an
active part in this activity and showed great interest in washing vegetables and cutting carrots.

Talia I have noticed these group activities supported you to develop interest in
listening and taking responsibility for your learning. You have been sitting well
for daily mat times and also enjoying listening to the lady from library. You have
been developing the understanding of waiting for your turn. Today when you
heard children are having turn for roller coaster you sat down and wait for your
turn and when I asked who is next you put your hand up and had great fun riding
on the coaster.

reminding me, you gave me your lunch box to put it on the shelf as it is above your reach and then you put
your drink bottle on the shelf and dining mat on the stand. I noticed you took the play-dough back to the table
