Supervised By: Dr. Nusrat Hoque
OBJECTIVE

Complete design for both low-rise and high rise building

which includes designing beams, columns, slabs, footing and
staircase considering seismic loading and other super
imposed load.

Computation of story drifts for low rise building and

high rise building for each storey.

Design for axial force and bending for both

low rise and high rise building.
METHODOLOGY

Low Rise Building

6-Story Two-unit Floor Plan
Load Calculation with ETABS v17

Tabulating Results and Required Data in Excel

Designing Column with CSICOL v9

Designing Footing with CSISAFE v16

Checking Thickness of the Slab Calculating the
Load Combination
METHODOLOGY

High Rise Building

Floor Plan same as Low Rise Building (12 Story)
Calculating Loads and Other Parameters
Designing beams, columns, staircases considering
the seismic effect (including time history, response
acceleration spectrum, P-Δ effect etc.) from
tabulated result
