Substituting for Miss Peterson. While not

teaching, I filed progress reports in cummulative
files and put the progress monitoring in their
own folders. I then went over to Bunker
SPED 400 1/23/2019 7:50 14:30 6.66667 Elementary and substituted there as well.
Help Miss Peterson with writing an IEP, taught
all of her math groups for the day and some of

There was late start school as same with every

Monday so I worked on an IEP meeting
reflection from the day before at my high
school. I helped my mentor teacher with various
activities that she needed to get done. Taught
SPED 400 1/28/2019 7:45 14:20 6.58333 the math groups for the day like normal.
Taught all of our math groups but a lot of
students were absent so they were mostly one
on one lessons, filed things away in
cummulative files, wrote an IEP meeting

Many kids were missing from school and this

has been a common occurrence so we didn't do
much for most of our groups. Today was a
progress monitoring day but due to lack of
students, we tested and then colored or played
games. My mentor teacher walked me through
creating a meeting invite for an upcoming
SPED 400 2/1/2019 8:05 14:10 6.08333 eligibility/IEP meeting.
Late start so I worked on checklist items on my
computer and listened in on PLC time. Then I
SPED 400 2/4/2019 8:10 14:05 5.91667 taught all of the math groups.

 Taught the math groups, went through the rest
of my checklist with my mentor teacher, MDT

groups throughout the day. I also co-taught one
of the reading groups and independently taught
another. We had one student with a lot of
behaviors in our first school so we did not get

teacher wanted me to take my

I administered progress monitoring to many of

the students. After testing we played games or
SPED 400 2/15/2019 8:20 14:00 5.66667 colored. I also worked on my file reviews.
Finished file reviews! Taught my usual groups
and one was observed by Brother Pulsipher.
Sadly that was the worst lesson I've had with
SPED 400 2/20/2019 8:10 14:05 5.91667 them.

I came in late today. I still taught our math

groups and I used our curriculum to start writng
my unit of study based off of them. Then I
attended an MDT meeting where they pulled
the general education teachers in one at a time
SPED 400 2/22/2019 9:35 14:10 4.58333 to discuss the student.

This was my last full day in the elementary

schools and it was really sad for me. We had late
start PLC and I taught the math groups following
that. I redacted one of the IEPs that I wrote so
that I could take it with me. I discussed the
upcoming parent/teacher conferences that I will
be going to. In general I was with the students as
SPED 400 2/25/2019 8:00 14:05 6.08333 much as I could be.
