B. Rationale:

Basically if we sum up all the factors that we need in life, we have clothes, food, shelter, and water. We can live
without shelter and clothes. But we cannot live without food and water. Water is life. In this case, residents are
struggling for water. We need to consider the question “what if there will be no water coming out of the faucet for
1 day?” even for 1 day. Worst things could happen. So if each house will have their own water line then it will be
easier for them to stock some water and their own supply so that they can bath wash, or drink without struggling.

The source of water being supplied to is not NAWASA. There are no faucets in every house, the only source of
water supply to suppress their necessities is the faucet located at the center of the barangay. The residents are
not getting safe water, the water comes from the mountain that is stocked inside a tank, where they get water
they use daily. Most households buy mineral water just be safe. The purpose of this study is for every household
to have their very own supply of water and won’t be needing to walk under the heat of the sun or cold of the rain
toget water for their homes. We can also come up for a safer supply of water for a drinkable water. In that way
they won’t need to buy mineral water.

C. Objectives:

1. To improve water quality.

2. To deliver potable water that is sufficient for the whole barangay.
3. To provide an easier accessibility.
