The plan to revive one of the oldest traditions that started in Silliman has been finally Commented [V2]: The whole news article is very week in terms

The announcement of the said competition started last November.Aspiring contestants
were required to submit their songs until December 7. With that timespan, the songs were
judged accordingly and then the finalists were alas announced this January. The songwriters
were each given a professional music arranger to help them improve their songs. Practices
then, followed after.
The Way You Cross my Mind by Andy U. Alvarez won as the best song then followed by
Real Connection by Amyrrha M. Estolloso as the 1s runner up and Cumulonimbus as the 2nd
runner up. Minor awards were also given. Arnold James Manuel’s Together won as the best
interpreter and ANIARMA’S Spell byKayveBuyante and Prince Villa won as the best song

The songs were judged fairly by caliber judges; Ian Casocot, Paul Salipong, Earnest Hope
Tinambacan, NaddieOrillana, and Marian Santiago who judged the top 10 finalists. These were,
