LOG Teaching Day Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 Quarter 4th

Time: / Day : MONDAY Class 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Date
I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of interpreting, assembling and testing of electronic projects.
B. Performance Standards The learner independently demonstrates the correct interpretation, assembling and testing of electronic projects.

C. Learning Competencies/ Interpret and assemble electronic project in accordance with job requirements. BASIC ELECTRONICS
Objectives Perform variations in designing and assembling electronic project.
II. CONTENT Schematic diagram
Circuit simulation
H-Bridge Circuit Assembly
H-Bridge
III. LEARNING RESOURCES
A. References
1. Teacher’s Guide Pages
2. Learner’s Material Pages Grob’s Basic Electronics pp. 403-417

3. Textbook Pages
4. Additional Materials from Learning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMTe55pBubE
Resources
B. Other Learning Resources Video Clip, Motor, Breadboard, SPDT switch, hook-up wires, laptop, TV monitor, ISIS software
IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous lesson or Identify basic electronic components. What is breadboard?
presenting the new lesson How to use ISIS software?
B. Establishing a purpose for the Video presentation Ask the students what are the different skills shown on the video clip
lesson
C. Presenting examples/ H-Bridge using SPST
instances of the new lesson Let the students identify the components used of the given H-Bridge circuit
D. Discussing new concepts and Schematic Diagram Interpretation. Identify where the current flows and the function of each component.
practicing new skill #1
E. Discussing new concepts and DC Motor power supply.
practicing new skill #2 Reversal direction of motor.

F. Developing Mastery H-Bridge using 2 SPDT. Now that you have the skills in interpreting schematic diagrams, I believe that you are ready to take another step which is designing schematic diagram, creating
a circuit simulation, and a project assembly. All you need to do is to analyze the given circuit composition.

Let the students choose an activity where they are comfortable to do so and assign them as a group. Each member of the group must have an assigned unique number.
A. Schematic diagram designing
B. Creating electronic circuit simulation project
C. Project assembly using breadboard
Task: Make an H-Bridge circuit using 2 SPDT and 9V DC battery. Please apply OHS.
Students will be working as a group and record all the steps, procedures, and strategies to achieve the desired output. The students will prepare for an output
presentation. (Teacher will call a number and whoever assigned to the particular number is the one who will present the output of the group).

G. Finding practical applications of  Ask the students what kind of project that could be created using the H-Bridge circuit.
concepts & skills in daily living
H. Making generalizations & 1. How to create a simple H-bridge circuit?
abstractions about the lesson 2. How the H-bridge circuit works?
3. Why the circuit is called H-bridge?
4. What are the things to consider when working electronic circuit?

I. Evaluating Learning Quiz. Circuit simulation

J. Additional activities for Make a project using H-Bridge Circuit.
application or remediation
V. REMARKS
VI. REFLECTION
A. No. of learners who earned 80% in
the evaluation
B. No. of learners who require
additional activities for remediation
who scored below 80%
C. Did the remedial lesson work? No. of
learners who caught up with the lesson
D. No. of learners who continue to
require remediation
E. Which of my teaching strategies
worked well? Why did these work?
F. What difficulties did I encounter
which my principal or supervisor can
help me solve?
G. What innovation or localized
materials did I use/discover which I
wish to share with other teachers?
