Plan and teach lessons for AP Spanish Language and Culture and Spanish II. Collaborate with
other Spanish II teachers to create units of study and performance-based unit tests, collaborate
with other AP Spanish Language and Culture teachers across the county, participate in vertical
planning, receive the highest AP Spanish Language and Culture exam score average in the
county for the 2017-2018 school year, sponsor Spanish National Honor Society.

Second Language Proficiency:


Advanced-High level according to the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines. I have studied abroad in Costa Rica and
Spain for a semester each and since then have been to Costa Rica numerous times. Also, I have visited
Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, and various countries in Europe. Traveling to these
countries has helped me strengthen my language proficiency, as well as gain insight into many different
cultures. Spanish is the language spoken at home with my husband who is from Costa Rica.
