For now, I am not a member of any student association or organization.

However, I have joined some

student association and networks based on environmental activities when I was an undergraduate
student. I have joined student association known as Keluarga Mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan (Students
Association of Environmental Engineering Students) Brawijaya University in 2014-2016. At this
organization, I took a part as staff (2014-2015) and treasurer (2015-2016) in Research Development
division. At this division, I have took more concern in water, waste water, and solid waste management.
In addition, I have participated in group research based and environmental issue, recently in water and
solid waste treatment and management. It also occurred as discussions for creating problem solving and
further implementation. Further, I have joined environmental social campaign at public society and
school. At public society in Car Free Day Malang, in which my capacity was a coordinator of event division,
we were campaigning Zero Emission Day as a contribution for reducing emission. At school, we have
socialized solid waste sortation to elementary school students from grade 4 to 6 at Pujon, Batu (my
capacity was a coordinator of event division). I also took administrator association of Laboratorium of
Natural Resources and Engineering at Brawijaya University. In this organization, my capacity was
coordinator assistant for holding laboratory exercises. It is in line with what I am studying now. My study
now is urgently needed coordination and organizing skills. Therefore, those activities from student
association and events, as it was directly related to environmental engineering discipline, gave me
valuable experience. Those could support me for doing my research about plastic waste distribution and
their impacts to aquatic biota at Surabaya River that held in recent time. In addition, for now, as an
awardee of PMDSU Batch 3 and graduate student, I still take part in some discussion and conferences
about emerging environmental issues that urgently needed to be solved. As part of National Awardee of
PMDSU Batch 3, we also often discuss about our focus topic research from various discipline study for
making better understanding and network.
