INTRODUCTION
The interlocking Brick was introduced to Malaysia since 2010. Numerous tests were
conducted to proof this soil compress unbaked brick fulfil the requirements in term of quality
and strength set required by the local authorities.
This brick was commercialized in 2015 after obtaining the approval for construction from CIDB. The interlocking
brick has been certified as one of IBS approved materials and also obtaining the green certificate materials.
BENEFITS OF IB
1. Construct at lower Cost ( 40% saving Vs Conventional system)
Eliminate many elements & constructed at Lower Cost. It’s nearly impossible to construct good looking buildings without additional
cost. Yet Interlocking Brick achieves that goal. It’s an accomplishment of engineering as much as one of design. Using the
Interlocking Brick building system, you may save cost by eliminating formworks for reinforced concrete column and beams,
plastering and painting costs, reducing many workers, steels and cements. Not only that, due to faster completion compared to
conventional construction method, you will save so much more on the project’s operation cost.
2
BENEFITS OF IB
Eye Catching finishes. The looks explain it all. You may call it English, Tropicana or Mediterranean or even
modern contemporary style. Where else you may find structural element in construction that also acts as
architectural finishes?
Speedy construction and faster project completion. Clients, contractors, until to house owners all
preferred faster project completion. Constructing column and beam without the needs of plywood
formworks as well as eliminating the plastering works, weather proof construction, are ones of the key
factors why it may be finished faster than conventional construction. As a result, it generates a faster
return of investments (ROI) and avoids the costly delay cost.
3
BENEFITS OF IB
It’s as easy as A‐B‐C& just so easy to learn. Any builder or even any layman may learn how to
build using this system in a matter of a day or two. Since the interlocking brick system still
using bricks just like the conventional construction method, it’s not hard to figure why it’d be
so familiar with the builder. With other building system, you will need competent installer to
construct. Call the manufacturer, and they quote you with expensive installation charge. Call
any contractor, and they will tell you to build using conventional construction. Building
system shouldn’t be that hard and with the interlocking brick, it never is.
Cooler interior& comfortable environment. With our brick, you may not
require to install air conditioner. Reduce 4 degree temperature
compare to conventional system. Reduce cost and energy.

• WHY DOES IT LABELLED AS COST SAVINGS?
‐ FAST WORKS – 10 MINUTES FOR 1M2 OF WALL
‐ VERY MINIMAL FINISHING. NO PLASTERING REQUIRED. ONLY PAINTING
‐LESS MORTAR USAGE, BECAUSE IT IS A INTERLOCKING BRICKS.
‐THE SYSTEM CAN BE USED AS PART OF STRUCTURE AS WELL. LESS REINFORCED
