UCC – Overview

eLearning module

This easy-to-use eLearning module provides on

overview about what the Union Customs Code
(UCC) is bringing. It focusses on the key features,
the impact on customs authorities and trade and the
transitional measures in place to move from
Community Customs Code (CCC) to the new UCC.

To fully benefit of the potential of this course, we

recommend to integrate the course in your own
training programme and to develop a full blended
learning programme.
Target audience
All customs officials and trade who need to be
informed about the changes the UCC is bringing
compared to the preceding customs legislation, the
CCC.
Available languages
This module will be made available in 22 EU
languages.

Learning objectives
By the end of this 105-minute course, you will have
learned about:
- the reasons why the UCC has been introduced
and why EU Customs is being modernised;
- the new aspects of the UCC and its changes,
which differentiate the UCC from the CCC;
- the impact of the UCC on both the public and
private sector.
- the timescales of the UCC transitions.
- the different legal acts of the UCC package:
Delegated Act (DA), Implementing Act (IA) and
Transitional Delegated Act (TDA).
