• (1) Maximum climb thrust above 25,000 feet is increased smoothly until climb
thrust equals V2530-A5 rating at 30,000 feet. Take Off and Go-Around ratings
differentiation by a specific logic (T/O : 27,000 lbs, G/A : 24,000 lbs).
• (2) Increased T/O thrust at high altitude.
 V2527E-A5 engine rating

• The V2527E-A5 engines and the other V2500-A5 engines have

the same hardware. It only differs from them by its power
management.
• The V2527E-A5 rating is identical to V2527-A5 rating except for
take-off rating
• The V2527E-A5 take-off rating has been developed for Latin
America operations on A320:
It is identical to the V2527-A5 (A320 rating) one at sea level,
It roughly maintains sea level flat rated thrust up to 6,000 ft,
It becomes very close to V2530-A5 (A321 rating) takeoff thrust level

above 6,000 ft
It delivers up to 17% extra thrust compared to V2524-A5 A319
takeoff rating to provide enhanced aircraft takeoff performance for
highest TOW.
 V2527M-A5 engine rating

• The V2527M-A5 engines and the other V2500-A5 engines have

the same hardware. It only differs from them by its power
management.
• The V2527M-A5 takeoff rating is the same as the V2527E-A5
takeoff rating.
• The V2527M-A5 Max Continuous rating has been developed for
Himalayan operations.
• The V2527M-A5 Max Climb rating has been set to minimize time
to reach optimum cruise levels.
