H. Deficiency Semester(s)
i. Deficiency Semester (one semester) For admission towards MCS / MIT:
For candidates who have at least 45 % marks in their graduation but have not studied any one
of the required subjects (at least 200 marks or at least two courses in a semester) during the
Bachelor/equivalent Degree i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics,
Economics or Engineering.
H. Specialization Certificate (One Semester) offered in following areas,
Banking, Finance, HRM, Management, and Marketing
I. Short Certificate Courses (One Semester) offered in Computer Science, General Science,
Mathematics, Humanities and Management.
J. Zero Semesters (for undergraduate programs): The “Zero Semester” has been introduced to
provide an opportunity to deprived candidates who have earned their required qualification/ degree
as prescribed in admission eligibility criteria of respective programs but do not fulfill minimum
marks/ CGPA requirement. Such candidates upon successful completion can become eligible for
subsequent admission towards their desired program.

Note:
 No MS/MPhil program will be offered during spring 2019 semester.
 Zero Semester is applicable for programs whereas given under admission eligibility
criteria of a program.
