Signalling Engineer at Pakistan Railways Divisional Superintendent Office, Pakistan
 Controlled the Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Computer Based Interlocking over 22 stations using Electric Point
Machines JEA73, Electromechanical Point Detectors JFV40, LED Based Color Light Signals, Traffic Management system,
Block Axle Counter, Level-Xing Gates, Object Controllers, Interlocking Processing Unit
 Identify, report and provide remedial measures of any defects or variations found on-site
 Reviewing Interlocking & Yard Diagrams, Interlocking & Control Tables, Signal Cabins Pull Sheets & Station Appendix and
provide remedial solutions for any negative signalling trends prior to approval
 Manage signalling materials list and arranging signalling material from Signal Workshops/Stores to ensure proper progress
and timely completion of various field works.
 Performing site surveys for preparation of technical reports and specifications, site plans, signalling & interlocking diagrams
and cable bonding plans
 Responsible for preparation of proposals & estimates for new safety equipment
 Perform and execute the installation, maintenance, trouble shooting and rectification tasks of Computer Based Interlocking,
Siemens Relay Interlocking, Mechanical Signalling & Interlocking standards of Level I, II & III, Auto Block Signalling,
Centralized Traffic Control (CTC), Cab Signalling, Block Axle Counters, Electronic Level – Xing Warning System according
to the accepted test plan and procedures at 36 stations
 Perform management, execution and supervision of signal maintenance staff with reviewing work requirements, approval of
work programs and evaluation of performance
 Exercise administrative control over all signalling subordinates and other staff working under control, check their TA,
recommend leave and take action under the Efficiency and Discipline Rules
