 ASPAM Scottish has policies and procedures that integrate social, environmental,
ethical, human rights into curriculum as a core strategy. Our purpose is to
encourage our students to change towards sustainable growth and develop
feeling of empathy and responsibility towards society. As a part of CSR initiative,
the students contributed articles in kind and donated the same for the Kerala
flood victims. The contributions were given to the NGO – Goonj.
ASPAM Education Group believes in inculcation of community resonsiblity in its
students wherein they are sensitized about the sufferings of the poor and needy.
They are made aware of the hardships of the people and are trained to be
responsible citizens of the nation who are empathetic, passionate and aware of

Student Council is selected for a period of one year i.e.
one academic session. Student Council has 50 members
who are headed by the Directors of the Student Council,
Head boy and the Head girl. The students of grades IX to
XII are eligible for the coveted posts of the student
council. The posts of Junior Head girl, Junior Head boy
and Budding Leaders are open to the students of grades
V and I respectively. The Student Council abides by the
School Constitution that they themselves have framed.
The members of Student Council have numerous roles
assigned to them. They act as a bridge between school
authorities and pupils. They are also tasked with the
responsibility of organizing activities in collaboration with
teachers and maintain order in the school. This helps in
assisting to create a better learning environment at
school.
The council members are expected to be role models to
their fellow pupils. They are supposed to lead by example
in many ways be it being dressed appropriately at all
times, observing school rules and being regular and
punctual at school..

Extracurricular clubs are important because they benefit a student through personal,
educational, and social means. … Being involved allows the student to learn about the
skills and talents they already have and clubs aid in honing those skills. These clubs
also teach the students time management, organization, and prioritizing skills.
Clubs classes are the creative sessions that provide fun ways for kids to learn, play,
learn new skills and gain fresh experiences beyond the realms of classrooms. In these
clubs, students get opportunity to be trained and further develop more creative and
leadership skills that will not only be beneficial to them at school but also for the rest
of their life.
Participating in these kinds of clubs also improves non- verbal communication skills of
the students which can be important for their life time. The reason of choosing the
these clubs is to develop the problem solving ability in students and also strengthen
their STEM skills .The child starts thinking outside the box and comes up with creative
thinking abilities. Hanging out with like- minded peers is always making the students
socially and psychological benefitted. Robotics provides the same opportunity for
students to learn the leadership skills, better regulating emotions and learn the high

 Career Guidance
• Career counselling helps students in identifying their
real potential and guide them towards a right career
path. In ASPAM these counselling sessions are taken in
grade X to help a student in choosing the preferred
stream. Thus after the career counselling session, a
student is empowered to choose a career goal, plan and
take a desired direction for a better future ahead. We
also conduct psychometric tests to analyse interests of
students as these tests help students to figure out
students’ capabilities towards their interest.
• Thus these career counselling sessions help the students
to know their aptitude and interests as per their
academic choice, career options available as per their
interest and suggest some alternate career options if the
students decide to change their stream in future.
