The virtual labs, Late Nite Labs, will be used as the software provider. I have created a course in
www.latenitelabs.com and you must enroll by providing the
Section Code: 23437477 for CHEM 111, Course Section 042
Once you have enrolled, you will find a list of lab assignments with starting and due dates. Since
these are virtual labs, you may complete them at your convenience within the starting time and
due date time.
Required Materials:
1.) An access code to www.latenitelabs.com
2.) Calculator
In addition to completing the scheduled lab, an Abstract of approximately 100 to 250 words
will be required from each student.

As you perform the virtual lab, you will take notes in the lab note section provided. I will have
access to your notes once you submit your lab for grading. It will be easy to simply include the
Lab Abstract to your lab notes prior to submitting your lab for grading.
Reports:
When you submit your lab, I will see the last iteration of your lab notes, the Abstract that you
included with your lab notes, and your answers to the questions provided. This is what you will
be graded on. Once you submit your lab, you will be unable to access that experiment and/or
change your answers. Do not forget to include your Abstract. Lab reports must be submitted on
time. No additional time to complete a lab will be granted.

A 93 – 100%
A- 90 – 92 %
B+ 87 – 89 %
B 83 – 86 %
B- 80 – 82 %
C+ 77 – 79 %
C 70 – 76 %
D 60 – 69 %
F less than 60 %

Inclement Weather.
Information on the status of campus operation is also available on and throughout the day of

There may be times when classes are cancelled, or travel may be limited due to inclement
weather. When questionable weather exists, please check your e-mail for an update on class
cancellations.
Dates, assignments, and other portions of this syllabus are subject to change if circumstances,
such as weather, warrant such modifications to the course schedule.

LABORATORY SCHEDULE
