Southeastern,

a place to live and learn…

Southeastern Louisiana University is a priceless learn-
ing environment waiting to be discovered. Located in
the city of Hammond and a one-hour drive from the
vibrant cities of New Orleans and Baton Rouge, our
campus is known for its beauty and luxuriance, a place
where centennial oaks and magnificent magnolia trees
welcome the students every morning and inspire their
academic sessions. The Department of Music and Per-
forming Arts has Pottle Music Building as its principal
headquarters and the Music Annex Building as a more
recent extension. They stand as wonderful and spacious
facilities that allow students to easily organize their per-
sonal schedules in regards to practice times, chamber
music rehearsals, meeting with their accompanists, or
