This study aims to determine the model formed by binary logistic regression and forest random
methods in the long education category of undergraduate students of FMIPA UNIB. In addition,
this research also compares the classification of accuracy made by those methods. The data that
used is secondary data obtained from the FMIPA UNIB Education administration consisting of
354 graduates of the 2016-2017 FMIPA UNIB undergraduate program. The results showed that
the significant variables in logistic regression were GPA and the duration to arrange the thesis with
an accuracy of 85.9%. By using a random forest, the results show optimal yield tree is obtained
when k = 50 and m = 4 with an accuracy of 97.74%. Therefore, in this case better to used random
forest method.
