The Full Stream dongle is a fantastic gadget used for multi-screen interaction powered by
EZCast It can project the display of your mobile device display (smartphone, tablet, and
notebook etc.) to another screen (TV, monitor, projector etc.) with HDMI through Wi-Fi
connection. It can enhance your TV/Projector with more features like decoding document files,
linking with your Dropbox account, web surfing, photo viewer, streaming video, live camera,
internet video and more. It can support most of popular protocols including Miracast, DLNA and
AirPlay.

6. Quick installation

1. Connect the dongle‟s micro USB port to your power supply or USB power. Please make
sure your USB power can supply over 500 mA.
2. Connect the Full Stream dongle to your TV/Projector‟s HDMI port, and switch the
TV/Projector‟s source to it.
3. You will see the main menu pops up on your TV/Projector.
4. Download the EZCast in all markets (Windows/Mac/iOS/Android) to enjoy the wireless
multi-screen interaction with your friends and families.

7. EZCast on iOS

System requirements

iPad: 1024 x 768 ~ 2048 x 1536
Storage At least 40 MB of free space required

Download
You can use QR code scanner app to scan the QR code on display and you will be redirected to
download our app, or you can search the App name “EZCast” in the App Store.

Device Connection
1. Before you start up EZCast, connect your iOS device‟s Wi-Fi with Full Stream dongle
(SSID displaying as EBODACast-XXXXXXXX).
2. When you open the app, you can use “Demo mode” or „Find device” to start using it.
3. Tap “Find device” to discover the Full Stream dongle and start to cast.
4. The first time the EZCast app runs, you will be prompted with a Wi-Fi access point list
that you can connect to. We strongly recommend connecting the Full Stream to your
wireless network in order to stay connected to the internet, since your device‟s traffic is
routed through the dongle.
5. In the demo mode you will be able to see a showcase of all major features of the Full
Stream dongle.

Features

Photo viewer
In Photo Viewer, you can select a photo and it will be displayed on your TV. You can also use
gestures to zoom in and out or change photos.

We developed a practical tool called “Sketch” that allows you to draw on pictures and save them
for later.

You will have to allow the Full Stream dongle to share your camera roll and enable the location
service before using the Photo function.

Document viewer
The document viewer supports MS-office, PDF and Apple‟s iWorks file types. Before you start to
display, please sync the document‟s files to your iOS device through iTunes.

The document viewer supports sketching as well, that means you can take notes on the
documents and save them to your photo albums.

Note: Some documents might not be displayed in the same way they are on a PC.

Live camera
Live camera is a real object camera which allows you to stream the images of your device‟s
camera and take a snap shot to edit.

You can adjust the image quality, switch to the front or rear camera and sketch on the paused
frames – you can save the paused frames to your photo albums.

 Video player
There are two ways to stream video to your TV through Full Stream. One is to sync your video
through iTunes (iTunes File Sync), or you can select a video from your camera roll or gallery.

Note that the iOS might compress the recorded video before streaming it to save bandwidth.

If your synced video comes with subtitles, they will automatically be displayed when streaming.

Note: EZCast only supports MPEG1, 2, 4, H.264 and RMVB video formats. For subtitles, srt, smi, ssa
and cdg formats are supported.

Music player
The music player allows you to stream music through Wi-Fi and it supports playlists.

There are multiple music formats supported by EZCast: ape, flac, ogg, mp3, wma, wav, rm, m4a,
aac, dts, ac3, ra, af, alff, mke.

Note: EZCast can’t access your iTunes music library due to iOS limitations.

Web Browser
EZCast comes with a built-in browser. We have categorized several popular websites for you on
the landing page. The web page will dynamically change with different country settings for your
device. The Sketch function is also supported.

 Cloud storage
You can link your personal Dropbox and Google Drive accounts to the Full Stream dongle to
access it anywhere. All contents will be available for download and display.

You can enable the sketch function if you download and decode a document file.

Note: The iOS version does not support Google Drive yet.

Live
We categorized different internet live broadcast sites for you, so that you can easily select the
broadcast list and instantly watch programs. The list may vary according to the settings for your
country.

Cloud media
Cloud media is a shortcut for all major web video sites – you can link YouTube, Vimeo and other
online video websites with the existing shortcuts.

Update
The Update function can be used to check the EZCast app version, history and update it when a
new version is released.

 Social
This is a quick way to see what‟s hot or popular in your Facebook video feed and allows you to
watch it on a big screen instead of your small handheld device.

Special features

Settings
In the Settings you can configure you Full Stream dongle, change SSID password, set up router
connection for internet surfing, boot up priority and update to the latest firmware over the air
(OTA).

EZAir
EZAir is a mode compatible with AirPlay. You can discover the Full Stream dongle if you turn
AirPlay on your iOS device.

With the iOS photos, audio files and video playback open, you can simply touch the display
button to cast to the Full Stream dongle.

Apple devices that support AirPlay Mirroring will be able to discover the Full Stream dongle for
screen mirroring.

8. EZCast on Android

System requirements
Phone / Tablet Android 4.0 ICS or later with at least 1 GB RAM
Resolution WVGA – 1080p
Storage At least 40 MB of free space required

Download

Device connection
1. Before you start up EZCast, connect your Android device‟ s Wi-Fi with Full Stream Cast
dongle (SSID displaying as EBODACast-XXXXXXXX). However, if you skip the Wi-Fi
connection, EZCast will allow you to connect to the dongle in the app.
2. When you open the app, you can use “Demo mode” or „Find device” to start using it.
3. Tap “Find device” to discover the Full Stream dongle and start to cast.
4. If you did not connect EZCast in the beginning, the Android app will automatically list
the Full Stream dongles available so you can tap it and connect.
5. You will be able to find another EZCast installed device if they are under the same
network, it‟s a new feature used to enhance your mobile phone experience.
6. The first time the EZCast app runs, you will be prompted with a Wi-Fi access point list

(OTA).

EZMirror
EZMirror is fully compatible with Miracast, you can tap the EZMirror button in EZCast and the
receiver will be switched to Miracast mode.

Once you turn it on, there will be a 60 second countdown for your device to connect to the
receiver. Please select your Miracast function in your device‟s display settings page – it is usually
named “Wireless display”. We also recommend linking your device to your local wireless
network at the same time to keep the internet connection on.

DLNA
DLNA is an industrial standard which allows you to stream multimedia formats through Wi-Fi or
LAN. When you click the DLNA button, there will be a pop-up support list – if you have an app
from the DLNA list installed, you can immediately switch to it.

9. EZCast on Windows

System requirements
CPU Dual Core 2 GHz or higher (ATOM not supported)
Graphic card Graphic card with 64 MB VRAM or more
OS Version Windows XP SP3, Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 and above
Wi-Fi Card 802.11 N (2T2R recommended)
Note: Audio is not supported on Windows XP, and extension mode is not yet available on Windows
8 at the moment of making this manual.

Download
You can download the Windows app from http://www.iezvu.com. Visit the website and select
the version you would like to download.

Device connection
1. Connect the Full Stream dongle and power it on.
2. Install the EZCast desktop app and restart your computer.
3. Before starting the app, connect your PC‟s Wi-Fi to the Full Stream dongle (SSID
displaying as EBODACast-XXXXXXXX), then open the EZCast app.
4. Open EZCast and allow access.
5. The EZCast will be listed, select the device ID and connect it.

Features
Multi monitor

Turn off Extension switch Mirror

You can switch between Mirror and Extension using this button. Our desktop app will
automatically select the matched resolution – there is no need to adjust it manually.

Note: Some video players will not allow you to play the video on the screen extension.

Stream quality

High Quality Low Quality

This feature will switch the image quality of Wi-Fi display. High Quality mode will transfer the
images at a higher quality with the cost of bandwidth. If the frame rate is not high enough we
suggest using the Low Quality mode for a higher frame rate.

Audio

Audio On Audio Off

This will allow you to turn on/off the audio transmission during Wi-Fi display.

Note: Audio transmission is not available on Windows XP.

Music streaming
The file manager will be launches when you enable the music streaming service in order to
choose the tracks you want to play on the Full Stream dongle.

You can use the EZCast control bar to adjust the volume and track progress.

Note: Only supported audio formats will be played. You can find the list above.

Video streaming
It works the same way Music streaming does – the file manager will be launched in order to
choose the video files you want to play on the Full Stream dongle.

Update
The Update function allows checking the desktop app version, history and updating it to the
latest release version.

DLNA
DLNA is an industrial standard which allows streaming multimedia formats through Wi-Fi or
LAN. When you click the DLNA button, the Full Stream dongle will enter DMR mode so you can
select the DLNA app to find EZCast and play content on it.

Settings

connection for internet surfing, boot up priority and update to the latest firmware over the air.

10. EZCast on Mac

Download
You can download the EZCast Mac OS app from http://www.iezvu.com/. When the download is
done, double click the icon to install it.

Installation
1. Install the EZCast desktop app on your Macintosh.
2. An audio driver will be automatically installed – you will have to confirm it.
3. Restart after installing. EZCast will be added to your installed apps at next boot.

Connection
1. Connect the Wi-Fi with the Full Stream dongle before launching the EZCast app.
2. If the Wi-Fi is connected to the Full Stream when you open the app, it will search and
discover the nearby EZCast dongle automatically.

Features
