works in the department of psychology and the neuroscience laboratory approved of this article.

This source fits into my research due to the data that was being provided as well as the scientific
reasoning behind why art has different emotional effects on different people. Having scientific
statistics will help my project because it backs up with rational evidence to build credibility with the
audience. The statistical evidence helps shape the understanding of my project because it gives the
background information on what exactly is happening and why art has such an impact on humans.

can help many people who are on the autism spectrum, who suffer from depression and those
individuals who do know know how to manage their emotions.This source also provides the
therapist point of view, which a lot do not. The source is reliable because the author, Monica
Gobourne, is qualified and registered with the Health Care and Professions Council. Monica hold
the required qualification, Post Graduate Diploma in Art Psychotherapy.

treatment program that will help the child move forward. This source is reliable due to having
therapist, which they are the ones creating the remedies to help the children, write in the source.

This source fits into my research because it is based upon the positive outcomes are therapy has
on children and adults. This source has helped me figure out different ways are therapy can help.

help when an individual is dealing with the death of a loved one. Art is a natural remedy that helps
heal individuals in any way they need help in. This source helps me with developing evidence in
ways that art can benefit all.

The most popular treatment is behavior modification therapy, which aims at shaping behaviors
through a system of rewards and consequences.
Art therapy is a natural fit for autism for several reasons. One of the hallmarks of autism is impaired
communication. Verbal self-expression and language is often especially difficult. One person with
autism writes “I just couldn’t get my words out. It was like a big stutter, screaming was the only way
I could communicate.” Art offers a way for people who have trouble “speaking their mind” with
words to express themselves directly, without words.

with autism and the way art has helped them. The goal of this article is to inform other how art is a
great thing many can turn to when facing certain disabilities to improve their lives in their social,
physical, and emotional health.

type of therapy because it connects to a different part of the brain where people feel safe to express
their feeling without having to talk. Talking about one's feelings , for a lot of people, can be very
difficult and especially for those who face difficulties with self expression. The goal of this source to
to show the audience all benefits and the actual effect art can cause to the brain in a positive way in
order to better patients lives.

This source will help my research project because it supports all other evidence I have acquired
throughout the project. This source fits my project because it has all information in one source
where I can find brain effects and physical and emotional effects on humans. This is a perfect
source for me to use in my project because it can backup all other sources which will help build the
ethos in my project.
