Ementa: Institucionalismo organizacional: fundamentos e conceitos centrais. Ambiente

institucional. Ambiente legal nos estudos organizacionais. Ambiente legal: perspectiva
materialista e culturalista. Legitimidade. Legalidade. Campo organizacional e campo legal.
Mudança institucional. Endogeneidade legal. Agência, escolha estratégica e institutional
work. Aspectos emergentes.

Objetivos:
Ao final do curso espera-se que o aluno seja capaz de:
a) Identificar os problemas, temas e conceitos tratados pelo institucionalismo organizacional.
b) Descrever as principais conexões entre o institucionalismo organizacional e a perspectiva
sociolegal no estudo das organizações e de sua relação com o ambiente legal.

Metodologia de Ensino:
O método de ensino fundamenta-se na leitura e análise de material escrito, e na discussão
crítica desse material. Os alunos serão estimulados a realizar discussões em grupo, em sala de
aula, revisar a literatura referente à disciplina, e redigir resumos e ensaios.

Trabalho final:
Ensaio contendo entre 3.000 e 4.000 palavras, com as seguintes seções: Resumo, contendo
entre 100 e 120 palavras; Introdução – apresentação geral do tema pesquisado, objetivo do
texto, justificativa; Desenvolvimento (uma ou mais seções com títulos específicos) – análise
crítica de textos científicos relacionados a um ou mais temas do curso (de preferência
contrastando dois ou mais temas tratados na disciplina); Conclusões – revisão aprofundada
dos aspectos discutidos e eventuais propostas de pesquisas na área, incluindo a descrição
metodológica-empírica que seria utilizada para testar e/ou demonstrar as conclusões
desenvolvidas no trabalho final.

Apresentações e debates em sala de aula

Em cada aula haverá um foco especifico para discussão e a turma será dividida em grupos.
Cada grupo ficará encarregado de realizar uma análise aprofundada de um texto indicado pelo
professor e apresentar o resultado dessa análise, na forma oral, para a turma.
