T2000 Tait Programming Utilities V3.01

Applicability This Technical Note applies to all standard conventional and trunking
T2000 radios.

1. Introduction
Information The previous full release of the T2000 Tait Programming Utilities (TPU) was
V2.91 (see TN-1104-SR) that installed V2.90 of the T2000 Conventional
Programming Application (CPA) and V2.91 of the Trunked Programming
Application (TPA).
V2.91 of the T2000 TPU has now been updated to the T2000 TPU V3.01.
This version will install V3.00 of CPA and V3.01 of the TPA.

NOTE: V3.01 is the final scheduled release of the T2000 Tait

Programming Utilities installation package.

2. Changes
What Has Changed? Changes to the programming Software are as follows: -

CPA v3.00

• The Notes field associated with the “Save” and “Save As”
functionality has been removed from the programming software.
FOCUS 22817/TIMS 51351.

TPA v3.01

• The Notes field associated with the “Save” and “Save As”
functionality has been removed from the programming software.
FOCUS 22817/TIMS 51351.
• Can't save a T2015 file in customer mode if any of the Tx
Frequencies are zero. FOCUS 23193/TIMS 52164.
• TPA crashes when saving the same file multiple times. FOCUS
23200/TIMS 53144.
• Unable to access conventional channels. FOCUS 21602/TIMS
49606.
• TPA crashes when setting Band to T20xx-Wxx. TIMS 51185.
• There is an issue with the 5-digit lookup table when the language
of the PC Operating System is Chinese. When the radio’s data file
is saved the number in the “Highest” column changes. FOCUS
23437/TIMS 52627.
• The field “Tone on Outgoing Status Calls” has been made
available to the T2030 and T2035. FOCUS 25268/TIMS 56148.
