For almost 50 years, Special Olympics New York has been committed to transforming and
empowering the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. It is the largest program in
North America with 67,000 athletes and unified partners offering 23 sports and 5,750 competitive
experiences. Our work is never finished. There is always more to offer our athletes, families and their
communities.

In 2016, the Champions for Champions Giving Society was founded. The loyal and generous donors
who chose to join the Champions for Champions Giving Society in 2016- 2018 are Founding Members.
