Hydrocyclone
Ideal for oily process water and oil field
produced water applications, our
liquid/liquid hydrocyclones provide
maximum oil/water separation efficiency
utilizing one of the most advanced, yet
least complicated, compact devices
available. They effectively remove high
levels of solids down to five microns, free
oil and grease, at a cost far less than
other types of separators.
Corrugated Plate Separators
Corrugated Plate Separators (CPS)
with Corrugated Plate Interceptor (CPI)
plate pack provide economical, compact,
efficient and effective removal of oil
and solids from wastewater by gravity,
in a smooth, efficient automatic flow.
With more than 3,000 installations in
operation, this proven design has no
moving parts and provides consistent
operating results for simple and
better separation.

The configuration and number of
plates provide enough effective area for
free oil removal down to 15 ppm with
greater than 60 micron removal. The
separator is able to tolerate up to 1,000
ppm total suspended solids without
affecting the effluent quality. Typically,
these units are one-fifth the size of an
in-ground API separator and produce a
finer effluent quality.
DGF Separator
Shown to consistently out-perform
traditional eductor, mechanical and
sparge-style systems, DGF pump
technology by Siemens Water
Technologies allows the operator to
instantly change the dynamics of the
bubbles being created to meet the
changing needs of production. It
can reduce the amount of water
treating chemicals needed while still
achieving low discharge contaminant
concentrations of oil and grease

Walnut Shell Filter
Monosep™ products by Siemens Water
Technologies offer improved technology
in high-flow walnut shell filtration for oil
field produced water, refinery
wastewater, steel mill direct spray and
caster water, ethylene plant quench
water, copper concentrate decant and
cooling water. The proprietary filter
design requires no moving equipment to
perform backwashes and greatly reduces
the volume of backwash water produced
when compared to other walnut shell
filter designs. Due to the reduction in
backwash water volume and reduction in
weight and footprint, this redesigned
filter is ideal for many offshore oil
production applications.
Induced Gas Flotation (IGF) Separators
Used in many applications, both on and
offshore, including processing oil field
produced water, refineries and
petrochemical plants and tanker ballast,
our induced gas flotation (IGF) separators
are innovative, adaptable and affordable.
Quadricell® separators by Siemens Water
Technologies are engineered to provide
the most efficient means of removing oil
and suspended solids from water in large
volumes. Combining 95 percent
efficiency with high throughput, these
units can process solids and oils from 50
ppm to several hundred ppm, with
product effluents containing less than 5
ppm. As complete, self-contained units,

Marine Growth Control and
Ballast Water Management
For seawater-based processes, the cost of
fouling can be substantial. Macro-fouling
from mussels, clams, oysters, sea
anemones and barnacles, combined with
micro-fouling from bacteria, slime and
algae, greatly restrict the flow of cooling
water to heat exchanger surfaces,
accelerate localized corrosion by
restricting oxygen diffusion and cause
destructive turbulence at inlets, which
can severely shorten the life of affected
equipment. Chlorination is the best
solution for treating biologically fouled
seawater. The manual use and bulk
storage of liquid chlorine is an
unacceptable safety hazard on land or on
water. For the same reasons, the
handling of large volumes of liquid
sodium hypochlorite is also impracticable.

Management System
Our newest maritime solution, the
SiCURETM ballast water management
system, offers a safe, reliable solution for
adhering to IMO regulations for ballast
water. The proprietary SiCURETM ballast
water management system uses a
combination of physical separation and a
proprietary, on-demand treatment with
biocides, produced in-situ from seawater
without the addition of chemicals.
Flowback
Our flowback waste fluid treatment
equipment uses the Brise™ dissolved gas
flotation (DGF) pump, filtration,
adsorption and final polishing. Our
proprietary pump has proven to be one of
the most cost-effective solutions for
treating these types of waste fluids.
Using DGF technology in flowback and
pipeline applications routinely saves at
least 30 percent over traditional
treatment approaches. Our equipment is
fully operational, on fixed or floating
platforms. In addition, we can semi-
automate our flowback treatment system
to accommodate “Personnel on Board”
issues while reducing cost. We also
