Lesson Plan in English for Grade 7

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the 60- minute session, 75% of the students with 75% level
of proficiency will be able to:
A.) Use lexical and contextual cues in understanding unfamiliar words and
expressions; (EN7RC-IV-a-12.3)
B.) Discover through Philippine Literature the need to work cooperatively and
responsibly in today’s global village;(EN7LT-IV-a-6.1)
C.) Identify the distinguishing features of selected literary genres during the
Contemporary Period. (EN7LT-IV-a-6)

Rainbow Colors.
And more importantly, you need each
other to give the mix of colors for beauty.

Now, lets go back to the guide questions.
1. If you were one of the colors, what
would you be? Why?
“Ma’am, I would be red because I am brave,
just like red that symbolizes bravery.”
2. What is the change happened in “At the beginning they have the element of

The students will be grouped into four and


they will be given different tasks:
Goup 1: Perform a short skit re-enacting
the conversations in the parable.
Group 2: Create a rainbow poster based on
the quotation “If nothing ever changed,
there’d be no butterflies.”
Group 3: Write a slogan encouraging
people not to lose hope in times of trials, to
cooperate, to collaborate in social activities
and to accept inevitable changes in their
life.
Group 4: Perform a song of hope.

E. Generalization
