International Conference : 1 & 2 Nov 2018
The 2-day international conference offers a unique platform
where over 150 national and international experts and though
leaders on green buildings and built environment would share
their success stories, case studies, experiences and highlight
how green buildings make good business sense.
Delegates from over 25 Countries would attend the conference
and will share their expertise, challenges and opportunities.

Seminar on Green & Smart Cities, Green Homes, Green Hospitals, Green Schools, Green Products,
Materials & Technologies, Green Landscape : 3 Nov 2018
The seminar on Green & Smart Cities India would
witness urbanization at a rapid pace by the year 2040.
As cities grow, it will also open up many opportunities &
challenges. One of the key challenge is on Sustainability.
This seminar would focus on - How Indian cities are
gearing up to the impending realities.
‘Home - Sweet Home' goes the adage. This seminar
would look at designing homes to make them more
vibrant, livable and something to relish for life.
About 100 schools are expected to attend the seminar
on green schools, wherein they would have an
opportunity to listen and interact with great achievers.
The Green Hospitals seminar is basically intended to
enhance awareness on the importance of healing
architecture and hospital acquired infection and faster
recovery for patients.
The seminar on Green Products, Materials &
Technologies will create awareness among stakeholders
about Green Product Market Transformation in India.
The seminar on Green Landscape facilitates the Green
Landscape Movement in the Country and transform

About Indian Green Building Council (IGBC)

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), part of
the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was
formed in the year 2001. The vision of the Council
is - "to enable a sustainable built environment for all
and facilitate India to be one of the global leaders in
the sustainable built environment by 2025".
The Council offers a wide array of services which
include developing new green building rating
programmes, certification services and green
building training programmes.
IGBC has been organising Green Building Congress,
its annual flagship event on Green Buildings since
2001.
The Council is committee-based, member-driven
and consensus-focused. All the stakeholders of the
construction industry comprising of architects,
developers, product manufacturers, corporate,
Government, academia and nodal agencies
participate in the Council activities through local
chapters. The Council also closely works with
several State Governments, Central Government,
World Green Building Council, bilateral & multi-
