GREATER NOIDA
The title of the topic should be clear, precise, short and specific in nature and
should not on any account be Company/Brand specific.
In-order to help students in selecting a suitable topic, a list of suggested topics may
be circulated by faculty mentors/ subject faculty of concerned areas. Students can
either select a topic from the list or select a topic of their own. Only one student
would be allowed to pursue a particular topic.
Evaluation: This would be evaluated by the Faculty Guides as per the distribution
mentioned below.
Information: All students will get their final Synopsis signed by their
Mentors/Faculty Guides and submit the same to them. The Dissertation Calendar
is strictly to be followed for this activity.
Step Three: Interim Evaluation
In-order to ensure a continuous student interaction, Students would be required to
submit an Interim Report to their mentors on the project progress to their and get
the same evaluated as per schedule and prescribed format.
1. Two hard bound copies along-with one soft copy written on a labeled CD is to
be submitted
2. The hard bound cover of the report is required to be black in colour with golden
embossing.
3. The sequence of pages and contents of first five pages are strictly to follow the
details given below;
The Title page (front cover) and the first page within the report should be
absolutely same (Annexure I).
The second page is Acknowledgement page (Annexure II).
The third page is Certificate of Originality (Annexure III).
5. Report will have pages numbered from the introduction page onwards in
Anglo-Saxon (English) numbers, viz. 1, 2, 3, etc.
Distribution of Marks
Please note that any delay on account of submission or evaluation would result in
a deduction of 20% of the marks allocated to each activity on a per day basis.
Dissertation Calendar
Instructions to the Students who join their jobs before the completion of
the Project
1. The Interim Report can be submitted in soft copy.
2. Though the responsibility of scheduling the same rests on the students
themselves and within the time line as mentioned in the Dissertation calendar.
3. The final report has to be submitted in HARD COPY ONLY. Outstation
students can send the same through courier.
4. The students have to be present in person for Internal and External Viva.

4. Literature Review - This includes a review of the literature on the topic, the development
of your position and the development of the hypothesis that you plan to test.
6. Data Analysis- This section of the report will carry presentation and analysis of the salient
information that has been gathered in order to test the hypothesis. This section will vary
considerably in both length and content depending on the nature of the topic. It may include
models or systems constructed by the author as a result of the investigation.
Significant features of the results must be clearly indicated. Raw data, if
appropriate, should be presented in appendices.
ii. Reassessment of the hypothesis (if any) and discussion of the broader
implications for management, industry, government organizations or other
appropriate bodies. This section should also include your conclusions.
