GENERAL DATA map S.p.a. has developed a new line of environmental friendly products for noise and vibra-
tion control and for thermal insulation, with particular attention to their behaviour with fire,
to smoke emissions, to toxicity and completely recyclable.

GENERAL TEROPHON 112 DB is an vibration muffler paste with synthetic resins in water dispersion,
CHARACTERISTICS lightly alcoholic and odourless that does not contain halogens, heavy metals and asbestos.
It can be applied by spraying, without using a primer and it perfectly adheres to metal sur-
faces, even non-painted, pickled or treated with a standard anticorrosive. It adheres without
any problem to bent and uneven surfaces. If used vertically, it applies to the surface to be
treated up to 6 mm of thickness in a single application. It does not crack and can be painted. It
is proof against petrol, oil, grease and can be exposed for short time to water (sprays) with
reversible swellings. In order to protect it from water imbibition, it must be painted with ei-
ther epoxy or PVC-based synthetic paints. It is not proof against organic solvents, chlorinated
hydrocarbons and ketones.
