Dear Jane,

Thank you for applying to the Mellon Philosophy as a Way of Life network. We enjoyed reading your letter of interest, and would love
for you and Salt Lake Community College to join. We are also able to cover your expenses for travel and lodging, which will be
arranged through the University of Notre Dame. Lauri Roberts from Notre Dame’s Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts will be in
touch with you soon with more information.

As a reminder, the dates of the first conference are June 17-21. Specific dates for the second and third conferences are forthcoming,
with an anticipated date in late June 2020 for the second. As a funded participant, we would expect you to attend each of the three
meetings.

If you wish to accept the invitation to participate in our summer workshops, please respond to this email no later than Friday,
February 22. We’ll be sharing more information, developing the conference program, and launching the Network webpage in next
month or so, and will be in touch with more information then.

In the meantime, let us know if you have any questions. We are so excited to be part of the teaching you’re doing!
