Fun times at Arklan!

On Thursday, February 14th we’ll be celebrating with a day long Dance-a-

Thon! Everyone will have an opportunity to groove to the tunes!
Here’s the dance schedule:

9:30 to 10:15 Kindergarten students

10:15 to 11:45 Grades 1, 2 & 3
12:35 to 1:55 Grades 4, 5 & 6

Admission is free. Popcorn, juice, treats and glow bracelets will be availa-
ble to purchase. Everything is $1, except popcorn is $2.
All the proceeds raised from this event will directly benefit Arklan stu-
dents.
It’s going to be a fun and colourful event!

CANDY GRAMS WILL BE DELIVERED TO STUDENTS ON VALENTINE’S DAY

Students should bring cash only and will be expected to write a kind message to
their friend

On Friday, February 22nd, Arklan’s gym, learning commons

and back hall are reserved for a full day of fun math activities!
Our grade 6’s will be Team Leaders, guiding grade 1 to 5 stu-
dents through a number of mathematical pursuits!
Parents are welcomed to visit on our special “Math Day”! We’ll post a schedule as
soon as it is confirmed.
Kindergarten students will have a special Math Event planned for later date.

Pink Shirt Day/Anti bullying

Children born in 2015 are eligible to start Junior Kindergarten this coming September.

You can begin the process by pre-registering online at www.ucdsb.on.ca. Arklan’s Registra-

tion Evening is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21st, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. This is the

“paperwork” night for parents. The Open House for students will be on May 14th from
