This manual is designed fo aid the instructor in using Core Concepts of Accounting
Intormation Systems, silh edition, by Stephen A. Moscove, Mark G, Simkin, and Nancy,
A. Bagranoff.
There are three sections fo this Instructor's Manual:
|. Solutions to end-of-chapter Discussion Questions, Problems, Internet
Exercises, and Case Analyses. For each question, we have attempted to
provide clear and comprehensive answers in this solutions manual. We would lke
to strass, however, that because many of our discussion questions, and especially
our Cases, are open-ended in terms of the questions asked, we have tried to
provide suggested possible answers that will serve as guidelines fo the instructor.
We anticipate that some instructors, as well as students, wel disagree from time to
time with the suggested answers presented here. Disagreement should contribute
toward goed classroom discussions and learning. Students should be made to
understand that, unlike answers to many technica! eecounting problems, answers
to accounting information systems problems tend fo be more general and fess
precise.
2. Testbank. The comprehensive testbank consists of over 350 Irue-false questions
and 450 multiple-choice questions. Almost every item included was either
classroom tested or adapted from a professional examination’s suggested solution.
3. Transparency masters. The set of transparency masters similar fo
selected textbook illustrations is designed to assist the instructor in covering
texbook materials, These transparencies should aid the instructor in
preparing lecture materials.CONTENTS,
