Introduction:

Leadership is basically the ability of an individual of directing and influencing or

inspire others to cooperate enthusiastically towards the achievement of goals. May involve

by followers who willingly accept directions from the leader, using different forms of power

to change the behavior of followers. "In the UAE, we believe strongly that the empowerment

of women is important to the future of our country." Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint

Mubarak Al Ketbi was the wife of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah

rest his soul. She is the symbol of the Emirates woman's development. She is a brilliant living

example of women's capability to work and achieve (Admin, 2015).

Qualities:

When we talk of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation,

Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, President of the General

Women's Union, Chairwoman of Motherhood and Childhood Supreme Council, we do not

talk of a woman who was satisfied with a limited role. We are instead talking of a lady who

dedicated herself to her society with all its sectors. Her Highness has many beautiful

qualities such as Communication and Social skills, she opened her Majlis reception room, to

meet the women of the country and to participate in realizing the dream of building the

modern state. Self-confidence and Will power, to enable women to achieve their targets and

become the participant in the social and political decision-making process. Motivation skills,

she moved all over the country to motivate families to support their daughters in acquiring

knowledge. Intelligence, Her Highness supervised an ambitious strategy eliminate illiteracy

in the UAE which was a great success that earned her the appreciation and gratitude of

international organizations (Personality award for sheikha fatima, 2015) (Sheikha Fatima,

2017).

Values and Attitudes:

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima had excellent skills, values, and attitudes. Such as integrity,

because she directed the media to raise awareness and strengthen the values of Islam, paid

attention to the Islamic forums. Justice, she combated the ignoble behaviors. Faith and Ethics,

she launched the Al-Bir Award to reinforce the values of loyalty and giving in the society and

strengthening the spiritual values of the holy month of Ramadan (Ramadan Iftar). Giving

and Empathy, she donated to a lot of universities and schools in Arab and Islamic countries.

She patronized heritage exhibitions and museums. She supported the Arab and Islamic

heritage, for instance, she donated to the Palestinian Heritage Center to preserve the

Palestinian identity. Humility and Support, she patronized the Productive Family Project to

maintain the traditional handicrafts and strengthen the sense of pride of the past

(Values of giving, 2017).

Similarities and Differences:

I have chosen to write about Her Highness Sheikha Fatima because her thinking,

qualities, and beliefs are like mine. Such as generosity, faithfulness, giving, humbleness,

love for work. She provides care for the elderly, children and orphans. And I like to

volunteer at Nursing Home, orphanage. Her belief that "education is the window thru which

women view the civilization of nations." As a future teacher, I am aware of the importance

of education and how to keep up with the march of development, progress and the continuous

advancement in our society. Children have a special place in her heart. As an early childhood

student, I admire children as well; they spread love and happiness. The difference between

her and me is that she is a wife and mother. She is fulfilling her first duty as a woman, which

is her responsibility towards her family and children. And this is what I want to gain in the

future, when I will get married and have children. I want to maintain a good work-life

balance as her. Moreover, she had an excellent public speaking skill, and I want to improve

my public speaking skills, so I am joining Toastmaster club, that operates worldwide for the

purpose of promoting communication and public speaking skills (Shaaban, 2015).
